Left to the ocean; he'll always crash into the ocean's spray. Swimming over and over until he can feel his skin stick with that sea salt smell; he's always loved riding the waves. Whether on a board or in the endless sea, he loved the freeing feeling of being at mother nature's whims. A gentle push and pull of the sea to awaken the mind. There's always been an ease to the gentle drifting of water. A Krearns wasn't home until there was water soaking him; it's what his father always said. The water was their home. For Lochlan, the ocean was his home. Deadly and soft at the same time; he felt seen in a way that no one else could ever.

A career by all means; he'd always been told to train as hard as possible for the games. Rely on his own talents while also improving the skills he's never had. Always the center of a party, Lochlan's stayed as a star pupil for years. Never quite knowing when to stop showing off or helping others with his leadership qualities. The trainers in Four all look at him, expecting him to be a pack leader if he were reaped. His father tells him to stay away from the games; focus on making a life for himself anywhere else. Lochlan didn't want to be in the games, he wanted to be in the sea. Drifting and looking for new discoveries. The water was his home, why would he ever leave it.

Except, he understood the truth. There's no escaping the water. There's ease in it, but he's experienced the storms. Spend your time adrift for too long and you'll never make it back. Loch's seen Four, been everywhere he could find. The childish desire to float and wait no longer there, he's got bigger plans. Four is at his own whims; hands grasped around a storm as he wants to expand further past Four's borders. A player by all means, center of attention, but he's drowning under it's light. Everything in his grasp, what more could he want? He didn't know, but he hungered for it.
