* * *Prick. That was what I was sure she would scream at me the moment she realises what the fuck just happened.
I had come up with elaborate plan the moment I had seen Ines Izar exit the opening ceremony dressed like a cute walking fruit platter: I was going to scare the absolute shit out of her. It hadn't taken long to gather the required equipment and with a few dazzling smiles and charming words I had managed to bribe one of the cute Avox's to let me borrow their music speaker for the night with the promise to return it in the morning. Getting the water melon from the dining hall had also been easy, I had simply just walked out with it, ignoring the questioning glances and a few glares from the fools in white.
Now carving what looked like a creepy ass face into the pink and green flesh had been the trickiest step. Mostly because I was no artists, and so the image I created did not quite live up to the idea that was so firmly pressed into my mind. But it would do, so instead of scrutinising over each of the details I shoved the melon into a bag and the music playing device into my pocket before making the quick trip to the elevator.
Flicking the 11th floor button I was sent zooming up up and up before coming to a swift stand still. Smiling, I walked towards the District Eleven suite doors and pulled out my artfully decorated spooky face melon and placed it infant of the door. Studying its position I make a few adjustments as I whip out the music device and scroll through the song titles until I find the track I had also as the Avox to supply. Creepy laughter that sent shivers across the nape of my neck. Clicking play I allow the cackles to run over my skin, eliciting goosebumps before I move down the hall in search for the light switch dimmer. Its easy to find and with a flick of my finger the bright lights fade into something more ominous.
Perfect.
Cranking up the music devices volume I slam my fist against the suite door, banging against it wildly before sprinting sound the corner to hide from view.
