Mom has not been around much lately. That is nothing new, she has her moments when she comes and goes, sometimes she just happens to be gone for more time than she is there. Reldexx is not around much either, the world seems to get a little lonely when the two people you care about never seem to stick around. The house becomes haunted with ghosts of the past, screaming tales of ugly memories that I did not want to remember. Day in day out, only those who cared nothing for my best interest would check in.
Have you eaten Fallon? Are you getting enough sleep? Why did we get a call from your trainer, can’t you just follow their instructions? Your mother should have never left you alone.
How dare they drag my mother into this.
She was the one who taught me after all was said and done, I was better off on my own anyway. I took her lessons into heart, taking what I wanted and savoring the taste of my victories. Crowned glory that came by never following the rules anyone had set for me, not the ones enforced on by society and not the ones enforced on by family.
“Fallon Azzaro we need to see you in the office” someone from the training center’s administration approached my whilst I still had a spear in hand. Something tingling in the back of my mind that I should have stabbed him through his chest. Restless anger pent up over the years, causing for violent outbreaks at the smallest of inconveniences. There was no doubt what this so-called talk would be about.
The scene clearly set inside my head.
One, where another man, disgruntled with my very nature would inform me of such. Just another “something needs to change” speech for me to discard from my memory immediately. I already had enough before he beckoned for me to follow him. My eyes rolled back with arms crossed around my chest. All of my weight sunk into my right hip and before I knew it I was getting told off before the whole ordeal had already begun.
“You need to fix your face young lady.”
“Oh, fuck off, no I don’t” I spat back almost immediately, tired of everyone else being tired of my own bullshit. A few fellow game-hopeful candidates had stopped what they were doing, side-eyes watching what would be next. What would little miss hysteria do to ruin her already tasteless reputation do next? This would be your time to place your bets, buy your ticket to the Fallon Azzaro show now! Who knows when her next performance will take place.
“Are you going to give me the boot? Go ahead, I dare you to kick out one your most promising candidates” a god complex filled my voice with an egomaniac edge. There was no one who could tell me that I was not as ruthless as they came, I knew no fear because of the very essence of chaos running through my blood. They must have known what they were getting themselves into admitting me all those years ago, never a kid who could stay still for all too long. They praised me as longs I picked fights with the other career’s, ones bigger than me in statue. Now that I grew tired of the toys they presented, the ones who shaped me are the next on the chopping block.
Bottom line? I am bored out of my fucking mind.
Even worse, I am angry at world and there are no words in my vocabulary to express why. All I know is violence.
“No? Didn’t think so…it’s fine I think I am done for the day anyway” My body turned around quickly just wanting to escape the situation. Instead, my dark brown eyes, ones filled with fire fury, met those of Giove’s. I was certain Mr. I-am-in-control-of-everyone had something to say, he always did. There was good reason my family thought our “friendship” was so beneficial…beneficial for them, Giove was just another growing pain I couldn’t shake.
