What have I done?

His mind races as he watches Circe fall like a rag doll. Her body lifeless. She fine, and Tide stands there staring not even sure what's happening. Everything crumbles and falls. His world collapsing around him, and nothing will change it. It had to happen, but right now, his entire body aches, everything is horrible and rough. Nothing makes sense anymore. His eyes fail him, and he falls to his knees as tears leak down his face. This was never supposed to happen. Never. Not in a million years, yet here is he, kneeled down crying.

Fuck.

She had to die, and he tries to remind himself of that, to keep himself calm, but just looking at her, seeing her. She's from home, family - she was never supposed to die by my hand.

He closes her eyes and walks away. His mind racing, his heart galloping, nothing matters anymore. Tide wants to go home, to see his family, to wear the crown, and he's almost there. Things might not look good, but he's alive, and everything makes a difference. The end is nearing, and Tide knows that it's only going to get harder.

I'll make sure to get you home, Circe. I'll make sure of it.
