Andres is 6" tall with black, buzz-cut, hair and cool umber skin. He is broad-shouldered and built strong as his work on the sheep farm keeps him fit. His eyes shine warm yet striking like black diamonds. Weighing 165 lbs he is primarily muscle with most of his strength being in his upper body. He moves very directly, not wasting an ounce of energy going this way and that if he doesn't need to. This gives him the appearance of someone who is quite slow to act, but Andres would argue against that observation, he isn't slow to move he is simply direct in his actions. 

Andres style of dress is what one would consider simple yet practical. All of his clothes are hand sewn, when he was younger his mother used to make his clothes but as he has grown he has taken a liking to making his own. He especially enjoys reparing clothes and does not waste an ounce of left over fabric or pieces of wool so his clothes are often covered in patches of mismatched material. However, due to the quality of the materials he has access too one will often see him scratching his arms or pulling up his sleeves due to the coarseness of his clothes. 

Personality:

Andres comes across as a serious, no-nonsense, man that at times can make him seem cold and unresponsive to your conversations with him. It is mostly due to the hard exterior he has built up over the years, partly due to the attitude his parents instilled in him as a child and the environment that living in District 10 has naturally created for him to grow up this way.

Being practical and a hard-worker is something Andres takes pride in. He’s been working on his parents’ small farm ever since his hands were big enough to hold a pair of sheep shears. He is certainly one to grumble about other people’s laziness or lack of resourcefulness such as someone’s inability to repair a simple chair or piece of clothing. However, if you want to pull yourself up and become more handy he is definitely willing to lend a hand and teach you some helpful tips. His practicality also influences how he views his life and its future. He doesn’t dwell on day-dreaming or bother thinking about ‘a life different from this’ he knows where he lives, he knows who he is, and he doesn’t need any more than that (and he knows there is nothing more for him than that).

Underneath this cool exterior however is someone who has a lot of love and kindness to show the world and the people he cares about. He’s respectful to others and is ready to jump at the chance to help someone out if they’re down on their luck and just need a hand to hold to put them back upright.

History:

Denise and Ridwan Bramwell (NPCs) are Andres two equally strict and stern as they are loving parents. They live on a small sheep farm with its primary trade being in wool, however, if necessary they will trade in meat products. They mostly make their own clothing and trade other necessary items with other farming families for their produce. Andres has a younger brother Stanley (NPC) who he is incredibly protective of and has an incredibly hard time letting Stanley be independent. When Andres was younger he had a very close best friend who would sometimes come and help him and his family out during the busier times of the year. Sadly, the friend died from what might have been a curable illness if his friend’s family had access to sufficient medical services at the time. Since then Andres sees his old friend in his younger brother and keeps him sheltered because of it.

His home life and the early tragedy in his life is what drove him to shut his emotions away and focus his energy on manual labour tasks. Manual tasks don’t change in his mind, they can’t make him feel sad or hurt and if any of the sheep die they end up as food for his family and neighbours.

His life has remained uneventful thus far. He hasn’t had a relationship with anyone and that has led to his family making jokes at his expense. He often sees romantic advances from girls his age but he always brushes them off. He finds an excuse such as he’s too busy or he’s simply not interested. Perhaps the real reason is that he isn’t all that interested in women at all, he just hasn’t figured it out just yet.
