Cynder Adair
Cynder had been walking around the training center for who knows how long, she’d gone from archery to blades and was struggling to find something she was actually good at. She was running out of time, it wasn't long till the games started and despite everyone thinking she was too dumb to care if she lived or died, she wasn't ready for her life to end. Her eyes flicked between each of the training tributes, silently noting how the other teenagers had seemed to improve in at least one of the stations, either getting more accurate with bows or stronger with their blades.
Cynder knew she probably wouldn't be making it home, but she planned to fight as hard as she possibly could on the way out. As she wandered around the training center, she occasionally stopped to see what the other tributes were doing. A fair few of them were younger than her, maybe she could overpower the younger kids but even thinking of that made her feel like a monster.
Her thoughts where only interrupted when she spotted Theo, this was her chance to talk to him and train privately. The man had won his own games and spoke as though he could fight off a bear if he had too, honestly he was a little intimidating. Cynder took a deep breath as she stepped over to her mentor, standing beside him with a respectable distance between them “Theo, do you have time to train me?” She asked and rubbed the back of her neck again, when she spoke again she lowered her voice in case any other tributes where too close “I’ve thought about it and..im not ready to lay down and die, i need your help. Please”
