Cynder Adair
Cynder felt like she was reading the same sentence over and over again. She was exhausted and had written down almost every little thing she could think of to study. She’d found every book possible that was available in the library about any possible creature she would come across. She had books about birds, both natural and capitol made, insects and mammals. There was a currently untouched book sitting in front of her about reptiles and water based animals, she was dreading having to start that one.
She’d barely been around animals other than the occasional pet that she’d seen in district 8. She’d worked with plenty of different animal fibers, wool from sheep and alpacas, she’d even worked with leather from cows but she’d never seen a living, breathing one. She let out a frustrated groan as she wrote down a note about some kind of poisonous insect that had shown up in a previous game, just in case this thing actually showed up.
Cynder closed the small book on insects and pushed it across the table, ending up leaning her forehead against the wood. There was so much information and just not enough time to take it all in, what if she ran into a beast she had never heard of and it tore her apart? She let out a more exasperated groan as she pushed her fingers through her firey hair “How am i going to remember all this?” She grunted to herself, already trying to recall the information she had learnt. There was so many different creatures with different venoms and bites, she needed to know how to heal herself in any kind of animal related attack just as much as she would need to against people.
