The knight continued on determined in his quest as explored the vast kingdom before him. The forest starts off with a few clumps of trees at first, but as he moved through trees seemed to appear from nowhere and before long it was as if day had turned to night with the leaves blocking the sun. He stepped carefully over vines and skirted around boulders before his ears caught sound of a faint trickling in the distance. He whipped his head towards it and through the foliage saw a glimmer of light flicker against the ground. He cautiously moved towards the shimmering surface his eyes widened in surprise when he realised it was water.
It was beautiful, how lush and green everything surrounding the serene pool was. The faint shimmering from the sun that creeped through the clouds was a wonderful sight. He paused for a moment to take it all in and enjoy the sanctuary before him. In the distance he noticed a stead stream of sunlight cascading down what looked to be a shrine. He glanced around the clearing before making his way over, being interupted by his foot knocking something against the ground. At once he jumped backwards thinking he was about to stumble into a trap, but all it was only a glass jar. He plucked it from the ground and eyed it carefully. It looked clean enough and perhaps it could come in useful for collecting water.
He continued on as he stepped up to the now fully illuminated shrine that was filled with water. It can't be all that it seems to be. He thought suspiciously as he made his way around the shrine. He tried to find what he thought might be a trap or vial of poison that was carelssly tossed to the side. He could see nothing that would scream an alarm to him. He went back to the serene pool and opened his glass jar to save some of the precious water. He gave the water a cautious sniff, it didn't smell immediately disgusting, but growing up he knew that bad water didn't need to smell off to kill you. He closed his glass jar and continued on, there was more to see and find. More importantly, the other tributes were still out there waiting for him.
