And off it went, the Stone Knight returned to the rubble landscape that now lay silent around the pair of tributes. Andres breathed heavily as he used his spear as a cane to rest on. The fight was over quicker than it had begun and the rush of adrenaline that flowed through him left him feeling drained. He heaved a large sigh as he looked over the cut, it wasn't too bad at all, it would mostly heal on its own, but he'll be sure to give it the extra care that it needs.
As his weariness from last nights dream and the fight left him the sounds of the arena were magnified in his ears. The leaves rustling, the settling of stone, and the sound of another person standing beside him. He turned on her quickly and all at once he lifted his spear and stared down at her menacingly. His eyes wandered over her, studying her cautiously. Was she going to attack? Would she after he had saved her life? He tilted his head curiously at her and then decided, if she did want a fight. I'll give her one she would regret. His menacing gaze softened and he rested the hilt of the weapon back down on the ground.
He smiled at her and gestured with his hand to the remnants of the Stone Knight that they had managed to chip off. "We sure did a number on that ol' thing," he said his voice sounding cheery. "Ya know, you put up one hell of a fight for a youngin'" His country District 10 accent settled deeply in his words as he checked his surroundings for signs of anymore danger. "I'm sure if no one else has pulled that sword from that stone you'd have a pretty darn good shot at it." He tried to come across as friendly, he knew that others may be intimidated by him from the lack of presence in the training center to then getting the highest score during the presentations to the Gamemakers. It certainly had an aire of mystery to it, and perhaps he was indeed a threat and she should run far from him now before his smile turned to a frown. Yet for now, he was just that country boy from 10 trying to put a smile and a bit of light on an otherwise terrible situation.
