Even the flower crown that fits snug on her head, cannot cure the glumness of the princess. Strawberry’s smooth glide above her realm cannot flip the frown on her face. The princess is sat rigid on the back of the wyvern, loosely clinging onto the studded collar that is wrapped around her long neck. Of course, the matter of the girl who had a spear driven through her head had to be addressed…but the feast! The wasted feast that is probably being devoured by the blood thirsty rebels who dared to spill blood on her grand floor!
How dare they!
Strawberry flies behind the wyverns of the mage and so-called knight. Mentally, the princess is firing daggers at the pair of them. They can’t see her stern face but its worthy of a competition against Medusa with how deadly she looks.
Just they wait until we land!
If she could figure out how to balance on the back of her mount, her arms would be crossed against her chest and a foot would be stomping. Except she keeps her feet as still as possible, fearing the wyvern will jump up the gears if she kicked her sides. Or maybe that would be a good idea – she’s not quite learnt how to control her mount, but she could try and divert her. The princess is not happy with her so-called friends. So why is she following them?
”Strawberry, land!” The princess tugs at the collar as the peak of a tower bursts through the clouds ahead of them. The ruby red wyvern quickly descends, the princess hopes they drop through the cover of the clouds before the others notice that they’re gone.
But of course, the princess doesn’t always get her way. To much of her dismay!
Just as they touch the ground, the other two wyverns descend. The princess quickly dismounts and marches up a lantern lit pathway. Each step with a very clear stomp. But she will never be able to outrun a knight and a tall lanky wizard.
The princess sighs, huffs and puffs but she finally gives in. She halts and spins around, facing the pair that are stalking her.
”Why would you take me away from my home?” Her back faces the ruined tall structure, one that glistens with a memory that she can’t quite pluck to the front of the brain. ”Your quest was to rescue me, to return me home. Not kidnap me again!” Every word that she speaks doesn’t quite sit with a reality that is fighting in her mind. Even her memories of the room she was just in don’t quite fit together with the scrambled puzzle pieces. There’s no throne in District Six…
Georgie…the princess shakes her head. There’s a crumbled piece of paper poking out of her purse and she pulls it out, pointing it towards her so-called rescuers. Then she sees a glistening metal on the top of the wizard’s head. ”AND you stole the king’s crown?!” The princess exclaims as she pounces at the wizard, waving the paper in his face as it’s the only thing that she can reach. ”WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE KING?!”dars.
Georgie attempts to climb the tower.
