The office was silent as the boss walked to and fro, sucking on one of his lollipops that is always in his mouth. His squat figure slowly making its way to the end of the room. His leather shoes made an echoing sound that rung throughout the entire office.
He finally makes his way to the swivel chair. He groans a bit as he sits down; he's gotta get on the treadmill more often.
His employees all look at him anxiously; each one of them wants the job, to be spokesperson for Jabberjay; to be the next reporter. And they hope that the odds are in their favor.
"BROOKSTEIN!"
He turns around.
"Yes boss?"
"You've got the job, now assemble your team, and head out."
