I have tweo ideas for a story, but I don't know which one I should write. They both seem like a good idea to me. So, if you at a bookstore and could only buy one book, which one of these two would you buy?
In A Time Of Magic:
Akira de Lenro, the princess of a large, powerful kingdom that
despied magic called Fallow, normally did what her father told
her. She attened her lessons, and one day she would marry the
man of her father's choice, and have children. But, against her
father's wishes, she is learning the wondrful, dangerous art of
magic. And what can be more dangerous then having her father
find out about her studies in the forbidden arts? Love.

My life was normal for a girl of my status. I would wake, take a already prepared bath, dress in the clothes that where set out, eat breakfast with Mother, Father, and my brothers, meet with my morning tutors, have a light lunch and watch my eldest brother train the knights and watch my other brothers spare, then meet with my evening tutors. In the morning I learn reading and writing, and history. In the evening, I learn etiquette, work on my speech, learn dancing, have my piano lessons, and then I learn how to take care of an estate, to help my future husband. After that, I’ll sit in the day room with Mother, her Lady-in-Waiting, and some girl my mother wants me to play nice with. There, we’ll either listen to my mother read a poem, or work on needle point. Then we’ll attend dinner, I’ll make idle chit-chat with a few ladies of the court, and “Retire” to my rooms, where I will change into commoner clothing, complete with a hooded cloak, and sneak to a house hidden in the forest where I learn magic.
Magic is forbidden, punishable by death. It has always been this way, since my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was king. The last ten (Including Father.) generations of kings greatly frowned on magic. I taught the youngest of my brothers, who was older them me buy a year, and my teacher taught another, who I have never met. But I would never reach my oldest brother, and he was the only one who can change things.
“Princess Akira, it is time to get up.” My maid chirped as she the open the evil curtains to let in the awful sunlight. Maria was the only one, other then my teacher, who knew about my secret studies. She found out when I accidentally threw a fireball at her on her first day as a maid. I then took her as my personal servant, so I could keep a close eye on her. If Father ever found out I was doing magic, he would kill me. And I do mean kill me. He'll burn me at the stake, infront of the whole kingdom, and then he would have his knights remove my ashes from his sites before the fire even died out.
I found I could trust Maria. I was able to talk about how awful the visiting nobles where, and didn't have to worry about Father finding out. She was the perfect friend. To bad she was a lowly servant. Father would frown on our friendship.
"I don't wanna." I whined, burrowing further down in my blankets. I heard Maria sigh and felt the blankets be pulled back.
"Come on, Princess. Your father will have my head if you don't wake soon." There was a knock on my door.
"Akira," My eldest brother called, "Are you decent?"
I sprung from my bed and hid behind the silk dressing screen that had been a gift. From my future husband. I heard Maria grab something from my vainty table. While putting on my dressing gown I peaked out. She was hiding a magical amulet within the folds of her skirts as she went to answer the door.
"Prince Aaron," She greeted with a small bow. "Princess Akira will be right out."
Still in the dressing gown, I strode out from behind the screen. "What do you want, Aaron?" I asked playfully. He grinned at me when we heard a heavy thunk. We both looked at the ground at Maria's feet to find the amulet Maria hid in her skirts, glowing with magic.
Wolf's Blood:
Hikaru was a normal girl living out her life in Chicago, Illinois. She
got normal grades. played only a few sports, and could kick any
guy's ass to next Tuesday. Then she was selected to go to one
of the most elite schools on the planet. On a small island, of the
coast of Spain, rests Full Moon Academy. Hikaru finds out that
she isn't normal. Far from it. Infact, she was born to be a
Werewolf Hunter.

"I got into Lane Tech." Linda Freed, the most populat girl in the whole eighth grade, boasted to her friends from where she sat behind me.
"Really?" I asked in fake admirment. Apparntly Linda doesn;t get scarcasm.
"Really. Where did you get into, Hikaru? Or did you not get into a school? Don't worry, I'm sure your neighborhood school will take you in. Atlease, I hope they will." Her ditzy friends laughed at the stupid-ass joke.
I rolled my eyes at her. We use to be best friends, before she became Miss. Popular. Then she became shallow and only cared for herself. I once heard her refer to me as a charity case, while we where still friends. So, I dumped her. But she insisted it was the other way around.
"Karu, can I borrow a pencil?" My new best friend, Maeve, asked, not even waiting for an answer before going into my bag for a pencil. I would have said yes anyways. "Whats this?" Maeve withdrew a thick cream-colored envelope. Written in gold was my name. My full name. The one nobody knew. "Hikaru Aio Sato" was written in elegant scirpt along with my address. It looked hand written, too.
"How did that get in my bag?" I asked, taking it. "Oh my God, oh my God, It's from Full Moon Acdemy!"
"You applied to Full Moon Academy? And they actually glanced at your appilcation?" Linda snorted.
"You don't apply to Full Moon Academy," One of her "friends" told her icily. "They just send you an acceptance letter if they want you. Any idiot would know that."
The teacher waltz to the front of the class and began the lesson. I put the envelope back into my bag, but the corner still stuck out. After fourty-five long minutes, the bell rang and our teacher lead us to lunch. After going to the lunchline and being hugged by the few friends I had in the second grade, (The eighth-graders did a buddy program with the second graders and I had my own little buddy group of four kids. We got along ok.) I was able to sit down with Maeve and open the letter. The writting in the letter looked like the writting on the front of the envelope.
"Dear Miss. Hikaru Sato," I began out loud.
"Maybe you should read it to yourself." Maeve said, looking around us.
Dear Miss. Hikaru Sato,
You have been invited to become apart of Full Moon Academy's student body. We at Full Moon take special care to make sure a student's abilty is streched to reach as far as iot can go, and then some.
You have been hand-picked. It's not about your grades. It's what you are. You, you are something special. You, like your parents, Miss. Sato, are a werewolf hunter. To be a Hunter, at lease one of your parents have to be a Hunter. At birth, they all have a cresent moon mark on the back of their right hand. They have this mark until they die.
You don't really have a choice in attending, Miss. Sato. Now that you're turning fourteen, werewolves will be able to find you. And they'll want to kill you. You'll be safe at Full Moon Academy. First off, we're on an island, and contracy to popular belief, werewolves aren't very good swimmers. And if they do somehow get to the island, we have trained staff to protect the students.
Inclosed is information on your dorm assignments, the classes we offer, and aswell as clubs and sports. I look forwards to seeing you in the fall,
I. Hembridge
Head of admissions
"Their pratically demanding I go there!" I said after a moment pause.
