My Thank You Thing (copied from Meeks)

Okay, I got the idea from Meeka's thank you to the staff. Mine's probably not going to be as long or mushy or precise as hers but here's trying!!
Okay, back in April I stumbled upon this site, not knowing anything about what I was headed to. I signed up, but didn't really do anything, mostly because I had no idea what I was doing! I may have asked aquestion or two in the cbox, but I kind of gave up. I came back in August just out of curiosity and bored-ness. This time, I actually payed attention to what the staffies were saying. They didn't treat me like some little kid who was wasting their time and taking up space in the cbox. They politely answered all my questions and gave me directions to help set up my first character. Ever since then, things have just been going uphill. I'm well known in cbox, and can answer other people's questions, all thanks to the awesome staff here. When it was time to RP, they walked me through that as well, and I set up a thread, and many more to come. The Hunger Games became a talk of excitement, not just a bunch of rules like i thought. The highlight of my day is coming home so I can get on the computer and talk to my new, awesome, dysfunctional, online family. I'm so grateful they don't just treat me like a waste of breath. So all you staffies out there whose names I can't all remember right now, you rock!!
