I believe she'll be the last one for a while. xD Like after the games... if I get one character reaped. xP
Name: Takeba Suzumi
Age: 15 (Edit: was 14 before 56th Games)
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 4
Appearance: Takeba was blessed with that of beauty, said so her friends in the past. Cutesy as a child, she grew to have more refined, mature beauty as the years went. Lavender and slightly-wavy hair goes a tad past her chest. She adorns her hair with an elegant butterfly clip near her right ear made out of pure gold, and the ends of the feelers are diamond-encrusted. Takeba's eyes are also purplish. They have a mature light in them.
Takeba never let herself go. Eating very little caused her figure to be very much like an hourglass shape. Her bust is decently-sized; she wouldn't want them any bigger and has no concern about breaking her back. Her posture, much like her personality, is refined and straight. In comparison to the average girl, she's just a tad shorter, not in the least noticeable.
Her clothing style is very exposing, to say the least; as outsiders would say, "unacceptable rags". Takeba wears an attire that fixates on her cleavage and butt. Parts of her clothing drape on the floor as the rest clings tightly on her arms, chest, stomach, and legs. Most of it is black, with only accessories that wrap around her ankles and middle finger being gold. Takeba wears a locket engraved of dragon design that holds her precious people. Her skin is a lightly toasted; one from a distance could not tell she is a little tan.
Personality: Takeba has an indescribable love and bond to those who are younger, putting her maturity to the test, hoping to lead them into a temporary light like a shepherd herding sheep in a pasture of green. Her finding many connections, no matter how distant to the subject, to herself and her life causes her care to kick in and listen well to others' problems, if any arise. Even if the problem doesn't concern her or her interests, she still listens in and says her say on the matter with niceness and conservation. With such polite speech and no tendency to use slang and curses, an aura of a saintly figure follows her everywhere. Kindly to a fault, Takeba can let her concern and slight worries break her down to such a mess that not even she recognizes. This concern for the younger and older spawns from her trying to direct them as far away as a life close to hers, wishing to the gods and stars that they wouldn't end up just like her.
Tragic events eventually led Takeba to take on an "emotionless" persona. She will not be like your giddy klutz or your prep; instead, she tries to remain calm and collected at all times that she seems "dead" inside. She remains this way to fulfill her "punishment". Takeba rarely gives off smiles and, if so, they are tiny and devoid of any real emotion other than the sake to ensure to the other party that she is fine. Ever since she was a child, Takeba always had this obedient quality to her, something that could never be explained by her parents or friends. In this sense, it only made her seem more robotic and doll-like.
These same tragic events, of course, bring out guilt onto herself. Takeba claims that if something goes wrong and she is involved slightly in it, even if just in presence, she puts blame onto herself. Takeba has never let go of past guilt in her heart. The guilt, she says, is her "punishment" for what she couldn't have prevented. Takeba constantly will put the fault on herself for even the most trivial things.
History: It is believed that her family are long lost decedents of Japanese people that threw away many of their noticeable features as each marriage joined them with white people, so Takeba was given a Japanese name. As a child, Takeba was extremely bright and talkative, loving and having a caring attitude to put many a smile on people's faces. During these times, she used to babysit her beloved cousins Xigfried - younger than Takeba by four years - and Aurora - younger than her brother by four years. In her younger school days, the purple-haired girl was friends with two girls; they used to hang out all the time, playing games and laughing amongst each other. Melody, the sickly girl, however, died when they were nine-years old. The games were over.
Takeba put all the blame onto herself, constantly repeating that she did not have enough concern for Melody, causing her death. The girl lathered herself in guilt, eventually eating less and less and neglecting her happy demeanor. Years after, still at a young age, Takeba's unborn brother became a miscarriage. Her mother turned to life-sucking depression, costing her job and wallowing in self-pity; the father comforted his wife, leaving Takeba to her own miserable devices. By this time, the girl took on an 'emotionless' demeanor.
Months passed, the daughter tried running away one night with little rations and necessities. At 11 years of age, she tried to get away from her problems, leave her parents to their own misery, have no one care for her. On a bench, Takeba had an empty look, a sack next to her. Suddenly, a teenager of black hair sat on the bench, arms folded, his eyes glaring. The girl talked to the teenager, smiling fake smiles; but, the boy snatched her bag, peered in, and said, "You're so retarded. If they (your parents) hated you, you wouldn't have any of this. Go home. I didn't like you anyways, so just get out of my face."
Returning home, Takeba had failed to realize her parents had already recovered fully from their issue weeks ago. They had been in a panic looking for her, and they cried while hugging her. She only smiled a little fake smile, embracing them back.
Over the years, the purple-eyed girl had gotten out of depression but kept the 'doll' personality. Also, love bloomed for the black-haired teenager that helped her, knowing that he was also in pain and lonely.
Codeword: Muttations
Comments/Other: Takeba has a tendency to intertwine figurative language with her direct, causing confusion. She has trained herself to be speedy, nimble, and dodge all sorts of attacks, including projectiles. The girl excels in anatomy and can pinpoint arteries and veins to go for with her expertise of daggers, slashing or throwing. She likes sing, hum, read, and write poetry. Takeba is improving her skills on whittling, loving to make animal figurines. Embarrassed is she to admit she has a taste for gummy fruity food.
