HELLO ALL! C:
Even though I am not quite as conceited as the title suggests, that is technically the full name given to me by a friend. c:
Well, for most of you, I will be Cricket or Crickie. I hail from a town just outside of Chicago and in Hunger Games terms, would either be in District Six or District Eight. C: I am a sophomore in high school and I have been role playing since I was in sixth grade. Mostly, it was WARRIORS and Harry Potter but over time, I have integrated over to other topics. Despite this, I do still role play my beloved cats. /loser
As much as I love role playing, I won't be able to get on all the time. I am a swimmer for my high school and I average roughly around ten hours of practice a week and one to two meets. My sport is very important to me and ranks just below my grades. If someone is curious, I am a freestyle swimmer that sprints the fifty yard and one-hundred yard and loves to swim the five-hundred yard. To add onto that, I am in multiple honors/ap classes that give a ton of homework each day. So far though, I am doing well and should come on for at least a half an hour each day.
Some days, when I am not on, it may not be because of school or swimming. It probably means that I have enough muse to push forward with my writing project. I am currently writing a novel called Time and Time Again that is currently at around 30,000 words and 1/3 of the way through. I am also a yearly participant of NaNoWriMo, so in November, I will be writing more and more.
So, the most you will see of me in on the weekends. Especially Saturdays, I will hang around most of the day unless we currently have a foster dog. If we have a foster in our house, I will be at adoption shows from about eleven until three. My part in the family makes me in charge of these fosters, so I spend a lot of time with them when they are around.
Finally, I am a HUGE science fiction nerd, so if you want to talk about Star Trek, Doctor Who, Joss Whedon, Firefly or anything of the like, I am always happy to. C:
