Name: Xelena Vanderbilt

Personality:

Xelena is a bright girl, in many ways.

She's pretty good at science, being from District 6 and all. She knows most of the elements of the Periodic Table by heart. She actually has a photographic memory, which makes studying a breeze for her. She's also good at describing what she remembers, which will make her a valuable asset to many.

Xelena is also very... happy. She has a bubbly way of talking - a gleeful chirp that almost seems to overflow with joy. She constantly talks about mundane things, like colors, or chemical reactions. She loves to talk actually, and would fare well in a Speech and Debate Club.

She's really oblivious as to what's going on around her. She could be rambling on about a flower while people are running away from an avalanche, which could ultimately be her fatal flaw. She's also easily frightened. She gets especially scared when it's dark out, or if she's in small spaces. She's claustrophobic. This leads her to make careless mistakes that could cost her the games.

She also has not physical ability whatsoever. Running a block makes her exhausted. She can barely lift fifteen pounds. She has to wheel her heavy backpack around like a luggage case.

Description:

Xelene has tan skin from running around in the District 6 parks too often. She does go to school, but afterward she spends time doing her homework outside, on the stoop of her porch. She almost never ventures indoors except when it starts to get dark out, which easily shows on her lightly tanned skin. However, due to genetics, she tends to burn more often than she tans, which also explains the fact that she's not really dark.

She has jet black hair that hangs down past her shoulders. It's really straight. She also has bangs. Her hair is very thick, and she's able to style it however she wants. Normally, it's in a purple headband

Xelene has gray eyes which reflect the light fairly easily. Normally, they're open wide in amazement from her surroundings. She is of course, and easily fascinated child. Unfortunately, they're covered by the thick white frames of her rather large glasses.

She's also around 4'11". So she's very short. Like, extremely short.
She's also very light, around 100 lbs.

Weaknesses:

She's oblivious to everything around her, she's easily frightened, causing her judgement to falter. She's not strong, nor does she have a lot of stamina.

Xelene Vanderbilt was born in a quaint house in District 6, making her the youngest child among five others: three boys and two girls. Xelene, being the sixth child, sometimes didn't always get the attention that she needed, for her parents became easily frazzled.

So instead, the girl began to wander through the small parks of District 6 by herself, stopping to wave to many of the other residents there. Of course, seeing that she was four at the time, they thought of it as adorable, so they waved back.

But others had different intentions for the girl. Once day, Xelene was almost kidnapped. If it had not been for her older brother (who had snuck outof the house for some alone time w/ his girlfriend), who happened to walk by the park in the nick of time, she would have been gone; probably sold as a prostitute or held for ransom.

Xelene tried to put that all behind her. Since she was four at the time, the memory faded away as the years went by. She excelled in school; she was in the top 3 of her class. She became so chatty, talking to others for hours on end, like a normal girl. Her parents were relieved that she wasn't scarred from the experience.

But they don't know that every night, she has nightmares involving those kidnappers, and wakes up paralyzed by fear.

She dons a purple headband with an indigo blouse, and plack pants. Oh, and her white glasses

Interview Outfit:

She wears a violet bow in her hair, along with her white glasses, a lavender dress and violet mary-jane shoes.

Chariot Outfit:

Based on the chemical reaction of oxidizing Potassium salt, her outfit glows lavender in the dark. Her glasses are airbrushed a bit to also look a tad bit purple.

Interview Angle:

Bubbly, energetic and sweet. Innocent. Basically, herself.

Games Outfit:

Purple headband, White glasses, Purple T-Shirt, Brown Capris and Silver and Purple Sneakers, with purple polka-dot socks.

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality:

If somebody were to describe Marx, their one word would be quiet. He barely talks in class, and spends most of the daylight hours inside. In other words, he's practically invisible. But he likes it that way. There's nobody confronting him about anything.

But few people see a different side of him. You see, he's very anti-social. Even if he wasn't quiet, he wouldn't talk to you. He doesn't like having to converse with somebody who's probably just trying to get the answers for the math packet that was due this morning.

But those who are close to him know a few secrets or two. Once he's gotten to know somebody well, he trusts them wholeheartedly. He'll do anything to protect them, even if that means hurting somebody else. Although sacrificing his life for somebody wouldn't be at the top of his list, he'd do it if there was absolutely no other option. And I really mean "absolutely no other option."

He's very level-headed, so he can think his way out of the situation. If there's a giant monster coming towards him, he'll be able to realize what to do in an instant. He's very improvisational in that sense. But he's stubborn. He thinks that his way is always the best way to go.

He's also a homosexual. He's perfectly fine with it, but he hasn't told anybody at all as of late.

Description:

It's logical to assume that Marx is pale from not going out often. But it is quite the opposite. Genetics have given him bronze-colored skin, that barely tans nor burns.

His hair is a dark brown color, similar to milk chocolate. Often, it's somewhat short, and is messy.

His eyes are an olive green that looks slightly lime-colored in the light.

He's about 5'9", so he's an average height.

Background:

He was born to his parents, who never really cared about him. They were busy taking care of their sheep. So he simply stayed in his house, writing.

He got quieter and quieter as the years went by, only going out for school.
