This is a random idea that was thought up an hour or so ago. I like it.

Have you ever wondered if that stuffed teddy bear that sits on your bed comes to life when you're not away? Have you wondered if you're being watched by the things you would least expect? What about that knife you're manhandling? Do you think that one day it'll come to life and kill you while you're not paying attention?
If you've answered yes, you are most definitely not alone. Quip, a 12 year old boy with an even younger imagination, believes that all things are living, each of them having a unique personality. He tells people of what he believes, only to be told that what he's thinking is just a part of being a kid and having a big imagination. He begun to believe all of those people that told him that it wasn't real, that he was just being silly.
But then it happened.
It? What was 'it'? 'It' was a single letter, a single letter that was found on his pillow one night as he was going to fall asleep. It spoke of the inanimate objects, the stuffed animals, the curtains, the whatever, coming to life just as he believed, and that they wanted him to meet up with them at a time that he could.
When there finally comes a time for the meeting between the nonliving [or so people believed] and the living to occur, they take him to another world through a portal of a window, where he seems to find friends and things unheard of in the real world. What happens when the stuffed animals don't want him to leave? What happens when he doesn't want to either?
