Name: Ghost (Inara) Jesoman
Age: 14
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 3
Appearance:
There is more than one thing that makes Ghost stand out, but the main thing is her hair. Long and white, her hair flows down her back, perfectly straight, ending just above her waist. It quivers in the slightest breeze, and shimmers in the dim sunlight they get in District 3.Personality:
Her eyes, which always seem distant, are a a pale blue grey, white flecks of a silvery color in them. There light up when she laughs, but most of the time are dull and empty, like cool blue stones.
Ghost's face is long, with prominent cheekbones and thin, pale lips. Her smile is the image of sweetness and innocence, or sometimes, a cruelty.
Her eyebrows are thin, and are very hard to see. There is a light blue vein just above one that she rubs when she's tired. Around her thin neck, she always wears a necklace with a small silvery ring. She always holds her head high, though.
Her arms are thin, like toothpicks. She has hands with long fingers and ten perfect nails. She looks unnaturally thin, and her legs are long and skinny, like her arms. Her feet are on the small side.
Ghost probably comes up to about five feet tall at the most, and is extremely pale all over. She looks very delicate and small, as if the smallest breeze could knock her over, yet many people would describe her as beautiful.
Ghost isn't as innocent as she looks. A clever, sneaky mind hides behind her empty eyes, and she's always brewing up trouble. She's an amazing thief with a quick instinct and an attitude.History:
Ghost is dangerous, too. Make her mad, and she won't hesitate to get revenge as soon as possible. She's quick to find whatever you love most and use it against you. Whether it's blackmail or destruction, Ghost will find a way to get back.
Ghost seemed to have lost the ability to care a long time ago. She seems to have no soft spot for other people's emotions, and that is generally true. She mostly cares about herself, but she does favor her family and anyone that she befriends. It's the people that she doesn't know that she doesn't care about.
Greed also controls Ghost. All she wants is more, and she'll do anything to get it. Sometimes, she just takes things so other people can't have them.
Ghost could convince someone that they once lived in the forest if she wanted to. She's incredibly good with words, which has saved her from huge trouble more than once. She knows how to play her part as the weak, mindless girl who had no idea what she was doing was wrong, and could convince anyone that she was anything but herself.
To Ghost, being bad is her way of being unique.
Friends are things of imagination and nonexistence, but they do occasionally exist for the girl that drops human relationships so easily. She's prone to run with the troublesome and exciting, and she will - though slowly - become attached. Though she'll quickly tell you that she doesn't need or want any attention or love, she's human just like the rest of them. She loves her parents and she loves the few that she deems alright to love, but other than that she takes.
Ghost's original name was supposed to be Inara. That was what her parents call her, though she will insist that every other person calls her Ghost. It's a name she came up with herself - a nickname, of sorts - that sounds so much better to her than her original.
Ghost was normal enough as a child if you could get past her looks. There didn't seem to be a thing wrong with her, but one day, when she was young, peer pressure got to her. As the children of thieves, they told Ghost about everything their parents did and she was quick to befriend them, and they taught her what they knew. One day, when Ghost was eleven, she put her skills to the test. They worked so well, she began to steal more and more often. To her, suddenly, everything became about stealing and taking control, and this made even her childhood friends nervous.
Ghost, from then on, selfishly took everything and anything that she could, all things that her parents couldn't really give her. They were on the lower half when it came to wealth, and it seemed that they never had anything else extra. It was always 'what you need' and never 'what you want' because wanting was dangerous and expensive. Except Ghost wanted all sorts of things, and so she stole everything that she could and flung that innocent, sad smile whenever she was close to being caught. If acting childish didn't work, she had other means of convincing them that she was innocent. A tricky and selfish little being she was, but it was all exciting for her.
