Question from a newbie!:)

Here, we're allowed to do any -person; however, I think a lot of people prefer third-person. I've seen many do first-person, but third-person does tend to sound professional. Less subjective, more objective. It's not to say I'm putting own first-person (I write a couple characters in first-person, and Ree, one of our Tutors, writes clearly in first-person), just I think writing is good in third-.

However, that's my opinion. I'm mostly a third-person writer; you can try to ask people like shrimp and ree, who are great first-person writers. It's up to you to pick your -person.
