Appearance:

Growing up on the docks was a good workout. Mason is very bulky. He's also normal, not too fat or not too thin. BLue eyes go perfectly with blond hair. He had blue eyes that seem to glow in the sunlight. His short-cropped blond hair seemed to always be in place.

Height doesn't mean anything to Mason, he was only 5 feet 8. Short, Yes. But he didn't care. He was one of the strongest kids at District 4. He normally wore a t-shirt, jeans, and some boots. With a bathing suit underneath. If he had to save someone, he was ready.

He was pale, despite all his hours working on the docks. You amy be thinking: "He must be so handsome." But he isn't. He's just normal. Also, he has a lot of bruises, his dad used to abuse him.

Personality:

Looks aren't everything. He likes music. A lot. Well it's basically his life. He just sings, and can play a little bit of a cello, something made of wood. People find it boring, but Mason uses it as his escape. He doesn't really talk. He's a mute. (You'll learn why below hehe.)

He can be really scared about a lot of things, like the dock will fall, or he'll trip and die. He's also insecure. About a lot of things. Like he's gonna get reaped. Well everyone was like that. But Mason isn't always like that, he could be cocky.

He liked sports and was good, but showed off a lot. He was very independent. Probably four days a week he would run on the dock so far no one would see him and he's just sing. Making up songs he remembered for a day. Never thinking of writing the lyrics and notes down.

History:

He hates his memories. His dad used to abuse him. When Mason finally decided to tell a peace-keeper, they killed Gregory Poe, his dad. His sister, Jackie, never got abused. She's hide in the best places. (I'll probably put her bio in tomorrow.) Mason is insecure, afraid his mom will get a boyfriend who isn't any better then his dead dad.

Well, that was really the only bad part of his child-hood. He grew up having friends, but then became a little more different, and lost friends because of this. No, I don't mean like he became really mean and a cannibal. His personality changed. He started liking music more.

But only a true friend, or his sister, understood. How he was tortured, beaten, with no where else to go. Jackie would cry when she heard what happened, how she just hid, but that's what made them good siblings. Caring for each other. To the end of the world and back.
