Grace Ackerman District 3

Grace Ackerman has wavy dark strawberry blonde hair. She is thin, and has the body of a dancer, although she doesn't dance. Her green eyes are almost always smiling. Her eyelashes aren't very long, more medium, but are dark and healthy. Her nose has a celtic look, straight, with a slight curve at the end.

Her mouth is medium size, not plump, but not thin. She likes to do some light muscle building. Not as extensive as others, but she is determined to be able to fend for herself if she is reaped. Her fingers are long and tapered. Graceful as it were, no pun intended.

She is likeable, but doesn't really make good jokes. She occasionally says a funny one, but rarely. However, she's ready with a laugh, or a sarcastic smile. She is clumsy, and drops stuff quite a lot. She likes to be understood, and cannot stand idiots.

Very set in her ways, she isn't shy of her feelings. However debate is one of her favorite things to do. When someone is trying to pick on someone, she sometimes finds a way to help. When you get her mad, it's not a pretty sight. She has a sharp tongue.

Her tongue is her fighting weapon, but she prefers not to use it. However she is sorry almost as soon as a fighting word leaves her mouth. Life has taught her to be cynical, and suspicious, a sad disposition, but a necessary one. She hates it when people bring each other down, and has been working on her own tendency to do that. Unfortunately, she also believes she can change everyone.

She has three siblings, a thirteen year old brother, a ten year old sister, and an eight year old brother. She is very protective of her sibings. She acts as a second mother, which is the source of a lot of sibling strife. But she would give her life for them anyday. She wouldn't trade them to be the ruler of Panem.

She was born to a poor family, who just squeaked by, but enjoyed family togetherness. At least they squeaked by, which was better than most. She grew and grew, learning new things, meeting people, and watching the games. The games fascinated her, and disgusted her. She had a vivid imagination, and loved to make stories.

She hated the capitol for treating the districts so cruelly. She wished that the world would change, that they could be free. But like the world does, it refused to change by itself. Sadly, there wasn't much Grace could do. So she simply tried to learn to help people which was hard since the suspisions left her with a wall.
