Goddess Natalya ~ District 1

Goddess is a black-haired girl with brown eyes and dark-ish-ish (two ish's!) skin. She is slender but short; if you put her back-to-back with a sixteen-year-old girl of average height, Goddess would only be up to her shoulder. Goddess usually wears formal attire, except when she's training for the Games or just not in the mood. In formal mood, she likes wears a light tan dress with a golden V-neck and gold high-heels. But while training, she wears a slightly torn brown t-shirt and trousers, her ebony hair up in a pony-tail (held up with a white scrunchy) and dirty hiking boots the color of rust. Her casual clothes are neither gorgeous nor plain; Goddess puts on a long, blue shirt with black stripes that goes up to the thighs. Along with that are navy blue skinny-jeans and boots.

Holding up her pants is a black belt where, in training, she keeps her longsword. Around her neck is a silver necklace the shape of a sword; her preferred weapon of choice. Going upward, you'll see that Goddess has squinty eyes and curly hair with brown highlights. Goddess has skinny limbs, but she is strong enough to lift up a sword with one hand slightly above someone's chest. Even when going to training, Goddess has picture-perfect make-up on.

To some, Goddess looks like a...well, a goddess! A celeb! But she's anything but. She's the perfect career: smart, charming, and very, very deadly, and very, very blood-thirsty. If Goddess doesn't get to be a Hunger Game tribute next year, she's going to volunteer-you can guarantee that!

Along with being a jerkett and a maybe future murderer, she's easily angered, and when Goddess is easily angered...just watch out, sword in hand or not. She's very abusive: the only person Goddess hasn't harmed is her twin brother, Ares, and people smart enough not to meet her. Probably the most fatal thing about this Natalya girl is her charming appearance; just one glance at her charming smile and you'll think Goddess is the nicest girl in the world. You'll want to be her BFF, the person almost always at her side: and then Goddess smacks you with the flat of her blade, or digs her thankfully blunt and trimmed fingernails into your throat: and you realize who she really is. But the problem is, you can't run away.

But Goddess, when she's not abusive and blood-thirsty, is charming, friendly, and out-going. Who says that you can't be those three things and want to become a murderer? Well, they're wrong. The only group of people Goddess immediately spits at is males; yes, a girl is openly sexist: excluding her dear twin brother, Ares, the only person in the world that she actually cares about. Goddess believes that males were put on this world for labor; all males excluding (of course...) Ares.

Goddess was born to Faire and Ence Natalya. She had a twin brother, Ares, and an older sister called Temperance. Faire worked at a factory that produced dolls for the Capital's children, and every now and again Faire would sneak one toy out to give to Goddess; her favorite child. But while Faire slaved at a conveyer belt, Ence stayed behind, pretty much turning poor Temperance, Goddess, and Ares into slaves. Because of this, Goddess believed that almost all men (excluding Ares) are awful slavers, jealous of women's superiority, while they were stuck with their poor status as slaves and laborers. If Goddess lives past eighteen and has children, she will probably treat any of her sons just as Ence treated her.

Temperance was a smart girl, but she was very fragile in spirit, making her a great target for Goddess and Ares. At the age of eight, they found it fun to break all of her most valued belongings, and Goddess giggled when poor Temperance began to sob as she knelt before her only friend: an orange teddy bear named Beau, now disemboweled and beheaded.

Goddess and Ares started training at the age of six. Ares found a crossbow to toy with, while Goddess happily chose the longest blade she could handle. As she grew, Goddess selected longer blades, until she came across a longsword: her current weapon.

At the age of ten, Goddess watched her father say he was going to take a walk while Faire worked, and he never returned. But Goddess has spotted him once: a year later, while she had a passing glance at an alley. Ence was kissing another woman, prettier than her mother. That was the day that Goddess knew that men were evil, conniving, and deserved their places as slaves. Even her brother, Ares, were slightly evil and conniving. But thanks to his up-bringing, Ares turned from a coal to a diamond, and deserved his place with Goddess, at the high ranks of female.

Later in life, Temperance became a Peacekeeper. Goddess and Ares were stunned: their fragile big sister who cried over a ripped teddy was becoming a Peacekeeper. She was sent to District 2 to train, and neither Goddess nor Ares has heard from her since.

Goddess still lives with her mother and twin brother.

Yes, yes...Goddess sounds stupid...leave me alone...I named her that because, you know, in the first book the girl tribute from D1 was called "Glimmer?" I was just...following the tradition.
