So, on Christmas eve, I had a mostly good idea for a story. Not sure how it came to be, but basically the kids of monsters. I feel like the stories of monsters need to be told, because they couldn't have been born bad. Classic and well known monsters. Not stupid ones. And all I know is that these kids of monsters have been imprisoned in a sky prison for centuries, never growing old, and treated like animals...and well monsters, and I know that they want to break out. I had a good idea for a prologue last night, told from Medusa's daughter's POV (haven't figured out a name yet), but it's kinda escaped me right now. I attempted to write it, but I need a little while to recollect it, and then I'll post it. So, I have some ideas for monsters.
Monsters (unnamed):
Medusa's daughter:
-includes snake hair
-And eyes that can turn people to stone only when she feels like it.
Dracula's son (As much as I hate vampires, this is a real classic one, one that doesn't sparkle, or any other stupid stuff like that):
-thirst for blood, duh.
A witch's kid (so far genderless):
-Mild witchcraft
Frankenstein's kid?
-Amazing strength
-Not too bright
I had more, but my mind is completely blank. So, if you'd like to contribute monsters, or feedback, please feel free to do so! But, please pick monsters who are somewhat humanoid, and are well-known and REAL classic monsters (Greek mythology is great, and other well known mythology. Also, story book monsters?)
