Tyler, D5

He is tall for his age, his back is covered in scars from the beatings he received as a child from his foster father, Cye Lynx. He has "dirty" blond hair, uncharacteristic of the Lynx family "silver" hair. He is well muscled, and has been since he learned to survive on his own when he left Cye in District 6.

Tyler is very evasive when it comes to discussing his early childhood. He likes to cover up his emotions with humor, and is a very relaxed, "whatever happens, happens" kind of guy. The only thing he is passionate about is his long for a better life. One that he is sure can be achieved by winning the Hunger Games.

Tyler was born in District 6. He was found and raised by Cye Lynx, brother of Aero Lynx. His father Cye lost his eyesight in a chemical explosion caused by Tyler. Cye had one day brought home a vial of mercury for one of his many experiments. Tyler wanted to see with the vial, but Cye placed it on a shelf in his laboratory. He had stored a vial of Nitric Acid on the same shelf. As Tyler had climbed up to reach it, the shelf collapsed, causing a packet full of highly explosive chemicals to fall into the now broken open vial of Nitric Acid. As Cye walked back into the room, he saw what had happened, and, as he pulled Tyler out of the way, the chemicals reacted, causing a fiery explosion that engulfed Cye's face in flame. His life ruined, his anger and pain from his handicap were directed at Tyler. As soon as Tyler felt that he was strong enough to survive on his own, he fled to District 5, one day hoping to make it to the Capitol, and start life over.
