Lyca Springs [District 5]

Lyca is a bit short for her age being about 5'1". She is a brunette with wavy hair that goes down to her mid back. It's never tied up and left down. She is quite skinny in size. She has bright blue eyes and almost always seems smiling. Most times, she wears a yellow, comfortable blouse, a long, jean colored skirt and sandals. Due to the lack of going outside, she is somewhat pale. She also wears a silver locket that her friend gave her before she died.

Always smiling, she tends to make lots of friends. Lyca is kindhearted and doesn't like to hold grudges. When not knowing someone, she acts shy towards them. She expresses her opinion and stands up for herself and others when needed. Compared to others, Lyca is considered mature and very studious. She doesn't like the idea of the Hunger Games and doesn't like watching the people die. For some strange reason, she loves animals but is afraid to go near them.

When little, Lyca was very shy and hardly talked to anyone. She lived with her family which consists of her mother and two younger siblings. Her father, on the other hand, had died of an illness before Lyca was even born.

Just recently, her best friend had died and she had be depressed. Not wanting other people to worry about her, she developed a fake smile. It takes a long time for her sadness to go away and she tries to not show it as best as she can.

Being in District 5, she attempts (and fails) to work with animals. Her mother, knowing Lyca's fear of animals, let's her just collect the eggs of their chicken and have the rest of the day off (which Lyca is extremely grateful for).

In her free time, she walks around town and occassionally read about animals. She tries to speak as formally and politely as she can so that other people can tell that she is properly raised. Her family is poor so she tries to do the best that she can to help.

When helping, she takes cares of her younger brother and sister. Lyca does household work and cleans. She knows where her responsibility lies and tries to keep it that way.
