Age: 16
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 6
Appearance:
Cobalt appears much younger than she is. The blue-eyed brunette girl stands at around 5'2", and her shortness in stature is added to by her thin frame. At 105 pounds, she's a scrawny thing - no curves to speak of, and no matter what she eats, it seems as though Cobalt isn't capable of putting on weight in any way shape or form. Her pale skin further adds to her image of frailty.Personality:
Cobalt, despite her fragile appearance, is almost as feisty as they come. She's a fighter by birth, and combined with her intelligence, Cobalt is a fierce enemy. Despite her lack of physical strength, Cobalt is plenty able to take care of herself.History:
The girl is also an extremely loyal person. While often she's a sharptongued child, if you can break through her tough exterior, you have found a friend for life. She will fight for her friends to the very end - and fight her enemies to the death.
Cobalt was born when her mother was only seventeen. Her father was twenty-three. The next year, just after Cobalt's first birthday, her mother was chosen as a tribute for district six. She died in the initial fight at the Cornucopia. Cobalt was named after her mother's favorite element of the periodic table.Codeword: muttations
Cobalt's father is a chemist, a scientist as nearly all residents of District Six are. Her father is often at the research facility, and as such, she doesn't often see him. They do share a special bond though, due to her mother's early death.
Quickly in youth, Cobalt showed promise in chemistry, just as her father had. However, she didn't want to apply herself. It simply wasn't her "type of thing" as she described it. Needless to say, her father still requires her to be a chemist when she grows up.

I've read both the current Hunger Games books recently - however, I'm not overly familiar with the district specialties. If my character oversteps the boundaries of her district, please, do let me know!
