Nate Renner District 10

Thin, slightly muscular, pale from spending a lot of time indoors, brown hair and eyes. Average height, not particularly imposing.

Nate is intelligent, but easily frustrated, and sometimes looks past more obvious solutions to form complicated plans if he acts without giving himself time to cool down yet. He's not particularly attracted to anyone, but willing to form new friendships, as he believes strongly in karma. Nate is slightly socially awkward, but has a dry sense of humor in the right company. He's very prideful, and often underestimates people, a trait he's trying to lose.

Nate is good at math, and his family have always worked in the trading department in his district. He has a little sister named Genna, who walks with a limp. His parents are kind, but very strict, and take his schoolwork seriously. He doesn't have much time for playing around, and spends a lot of nights studying instead of hanging out with his small group of friends, all of whom consider him 'the mathy one'. He plans to advance in the trading department, so that he can eventually attain a high position and improve his quality of life. Nothing particularly special. He doesn't like the reaping, but who does? He hasn't quite gained the courage to speak out about it, yet. Not quite yet...

Has a necklace that belonged to his grandfather, whose best friend was a winner in the Games, and gave it to him before he died. It's a simple rope necklace with a single metal gear tied to it.
