Red-Brown hair. Black eyes. About 5'5 height. Despite having tanned skin, she manages to look pale. An unhealthy sort of pale.

She has really awful vision, so anything more than 5 feet away appears blurry around the edges.

Awful vision makes things blurry around the edges. More airbrushed, things are better-looking than they actually are. So Catalyst can understand, accept people easily.

Another thing. Catalyst is going to die. Anytime now. There is a virus that is dormant in her body, that could become active at any time and end her life.

So she lives everyday aware of it. How she could easily drop dead soon. She does things that normal people wouldn't do. She tries to be fearless. Be bold. Live every day fully. But she has a sort of hidden, negative view on life. Mostly because she views herself as already dead.

Catalyst's family doesn't want anything to do with her. They don't want a dead girl as a daughter. So simply, they take a step away from Catalyst. Avoid her a bit more than usual.

Lyst was told of her coming death at age 10. Changed because of it.

The virus type that I'm talking about: Some viruses actually attach themselves to some of the cells in your body, and become part of the nucleus, like an imposter cell. The cell/virus becomes dormant until whenever, and the virus/cell will actually kill itself/explode to infect other cells, and spread the virus throughout the entire body. I think that some viruses stay dormant for certain periods of time, like a range of dormancy.. Something like that.
