Age: 16 (Elicia's twin)
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 3
Appearance:
Unlike his twin sister, Ewan is more muscular, but still just as pale, and still skinny by the standards of other districts. He has dark blonde hair slightly lighter than his sisters that flops down in his face no matter what he tries to do with it (he tried to gell it back once but his sisters never let him hear the end of it). He has rather long limbs, and is quite strong, does a lot of heavy lifting. Ewan has lighter gray eyes than his sisters, and smiles a lot more (June usually purses her lips, Elicia's vague mouth curve doesn't really count) so he has slight smile lines at the corners of his mouth and eyes. June teases him about getting wrinkles. He laughs it off, saying it just means that "everyone will know he's happier" because he smiled a lot more.
Personality:
Ewan is of average intelligence, not quite as smart as Elicia, most likely smarter than June. It doesn't really bother him though, his ambitions aren't what one might call high. He wants to go into construction, but right now all he's doing is lifting crates to move around in stores. As long as he has a hammer and nails, he's happy. Elicia may make new things, and June may tinker with people rather than objects, but Ewan's true passion lies in fixing. They've never once had to call the handyman since he turned thirteen, usually just a brief look at the problem will suffice. He's smart in THAT way. He likes it. It must be unique.
Ewan is friendly, and has a large group of friends, mostly boys, not followers like June has or a couple of loners drawn together out of mutual need like Elicia has. Even so, he stays out of the "popular ring" at school. Ewan might be considered the average, the medium in his family: the average smart guy, an average level of popularity, an average level of breaking stuff and building stuff. His sisters are the extremes.
History:
Ewan has always been rather ready to go with anything. He understands there is little to no chance of a higher education for him (as he squarely refuses to work in the Capitol, he hates every reaping with all his heart) so he's opted out, and thinks that construction is a good use of his strength and will bring in enough money to support his family. He's actually only just started to consider that his passion, his hobby--tinkering and fixing--may be a valid career path. It seems almost too good to be true.
Ewan's childhood was sort of overshadowed by his sisters, polar opposites, extremes. He's always been closer to Elicia than June, which he attributes to the fact that Elicia is his twin, and despite her general oddness they're usually on the same wavelength. Except for sometimes, when she goes into "mad scientist mode", and then nobody can tell what the hell she's thinking. She may tinker a lot, but goes into actual full-blown mad scientist mode a lot less than you'd think, thank god. He has enough trouble dealing with June.
He loves June, he really does, but it bothers him the way she uses people. He's always urging her to stop, but some part of Ewan knows that she will probably not change within her teenage years. He hopes she's kinder as an adult. He helps Geeta out so he has a good relationship with her, and Wesley and he have pretty similar personalities, so Ewan made out lucky in having both his parents like him. The downside to this is that sometimes because they don't worry about him as much, he gets overlooked.
He likes to go out walking out with Elicia, passing the (dirty) forests and the (dead) duck pond. It helps clear his head. The denizens of District three have strong lungs, and he is no different.

Comments/Other:
Ewan usually keeps a hammer and nails with him at all times. Elicia once pointed out to him on one of their walks that it could be used as a Hunger Games weapon. Jokingly, he threw it at a tree--it impaled itself deeply in the bark directly at the center. He wrenched it out, wiped it off, and they didn't talk about it again.
