Eden Harter, District Four

Eden Harter is a paradigm of your average District Four citizen. She's rather tall at about 5'8, a fact that she dreads. She is lean and strong. She has a soft-featured face with slightly high cheekbones. Eden has, like everyone in Four, a healthy tan. Her wavy, chocolate brown hair cascades down just about six inches past her shoulders. She has green eyes with specks of golden brown.

Eden is reserved, responsible, and mature. She's a good listener and quite observant. She has a group of friends that consists of people she has known since childhood, although she doesn't spend a lot of her time with them; she'd rather spend it in solitude or with her family. She is loyal and true to her word, quiet and thoughtful. She takes great caution when speaking. She is tactful and discreet. Eden's hobbies are swimming (as per most of District Four's population). She loves to float along the surface, but she favors deep sea diving to it. She finds beauty in everything and everyone. Eden can be a bit judgmental (inwardly), and this is her downfall. She constantly trains for the Hunger Games, on the off chance that she gets reaped. She's a bit indifferent about the Games; she neither loves it nor hates it, but one thing is for sure: She's mentally ready for it.

Eden is second-born in her family, after her older brother whom she looks up to greatly. She and her older brother share a sort of neutral, indifferent relationship; they do love each other, but they don't show it a lot. Eden and her mother have a strong relationship. She thinks highly of her mother and loves her deeply, seeking her advice constantly. Eden loves her father as well and vice versa, but they don't have a lot of moments together to back the relationship up. Eden works at the docks as a deep-sea diver, much to her felicity. Her job is to bring back oysters, sea shells, and other beautiful, valuable things that can only be found at the bottom of the ocean. Her great interest in beauty makes her an ideal worker for this job.
