In one word Air is complicated. When off-guard (well as off guard as she gets anyways) she is funny and sardonic. She likes to show off her abilities such as carving and a acquired skill of healing (more about this in history). When faced with danger however she is mind over matter, choosing to ensnare her pursuers with thought out plans, though she doesn't enjoy killing. She chooses not to be bound to another though her heart secretly yearns for someone whom she may learn to trust.

Air was born Alex Manler in the 10th district to Tawny and Vance Manler. Her parents worked at the apothecary left to them by her fathers foster mother. She has no siblings due to her mothers inability to bear anymore children. When she was 12 her parents were killed when an old foe of her father's slipped nightlock into their water supply. Air was sick then and unable to keep anything down so she fortunately drank none. She spent the next 3 years of her life hunting down her parents killer. She found him and turned him in. She now lives with her aunt in district 2.

Air is up for anything and will volunteer for the hunger games if necessary.
