Her mother calls her Chimeiteki Hana
She says it means Lethal Flower
She likes to be called Chim, Chemei, or Han.
She just turned seventeen
The only gender she knows to be is female.
She's told at school they live in District One

Paint Me a Picture

A build like Chemei's could come across as pretty or cute, but no one would ever consider her as being "hot" like some of the other girls her age. The small frame is mainly due to her Asian origin, but also from lack of food {see history} and high metabolism. But compare her to the few other Oriental girls of her class, and you will find some evident differences. Although she was never told, she has discovered she is not full-blood Asian as her mother so desperately wishes, her blood being mixed with a white man's. It's a fact she herself would enjoy ridding of, but refuses to hate herself for it, seeing as though it is something that cannot be helped.

Although the trait isn't as important as it had been when there was once a land called North America, it is necessary to give an image of Chemei. You see, as usual with most of Asian origin, the shade of her skin is of a creamy sort. Her mother assumes, it if weren't for that cursed foreign blood, she would have been as dark as she. For, although her mother is a peach, it is a darker tint than most. She claims it is from years of hard work and hours spent in the hot sun, but Chemei knows the woman only steps outside when she must, and attends her work when she feels it necessary. However, in contrast, Chimei's skin seems a pale white, due to, again confirming her previous thoughts, lack of sunshine, or as she would have put it as a child, "No playtime." (Completely her mother's fault).

Although nothing in the world is completely smooth, as some things tend to feel (proven by the scientists of District Six), Chemei's skin is about the closest you will come. While some people think rough skin and caloused hands to be attractive, Chemei finds it outright disgusting, and she will tell you this untill proven otherwise. She constantly moisturizes every part of her body, once waking in the morning, and twice as she goes to bed at night, and because of this, refuses to spend too much time in blistering heat in fear of freckles and other blemishes. She finds herself visiting her neighbor (who seems to be some sort of medicine-man) for skin cream, which he finds in the factories of District One for this exact reason.
