Lilia Anne Evans (District nine)

Lilia has dark hair, it's such a dark brown that- in the right light- it looks black. Her hair's long and hangs to her waist, most often in a braid of some type.
Her pale skin contrasts sharply with the darkness of her hair, sometimes making her symmetrical features appear almost ghost-like. She has a tattoo shaped like an omega sign around her left wrist.
Lilly's large eyes are a beautiful blue-grey. While they don't actually change colour, if it's a sunny day they look more grey while when it's cloudier they look like a bright, vivid blue.
She tends to wear casual clothes: jeans and a light, short sleeved top, occasionally with a jacket of some type and trainers. She prefers paler, almost pastel colours but often chooses deeper neutrals- browns or dark grey- depending on the season and her mood.

Lilly was always a quiet girl, even at a young age. She preferred to hang around outside than join the crowds talking inside and, because of this, hardly anyone knows her name, those who do somehow remember who she is, know nothing about her.
Despite her shyness, Lilly is rarely lost for words and almost always has a good comeback ready. She's loyal to her friends but rarely expects the same in return.
Lilly has quite a low opinion of herself. As far as she's concerned, her thievery means she's a bad person, that doesn't stop her though, she needs to steal to keep her family from dying.
She only does anything if she has a good reason and, because of this, very rarely apologises as she believes she's right. However, if she does realize that she's wrong, she says sorry straight away, no matter what the circumstances are

As a child, Lilly's life wasn't that good. Due to her mother breaking one of her legs- and thus not being able to do any more work- Lilly's father divorced and, taking all the money with him, deserted the family. This left twelve year old Lilly- as the oldest capable member of the family- as the one who had to do the work.
While Lilly could have probably found somewhere for herself and siblings to live- like an orphanage- she didn't want to leave her mother behind.
Lilly had never been very good at hunting, she felt sick at even the thought of hurting- let alone killing- an animal, however, Lilly had always been good at not being noticed and, after a while, she used this to start pickpocketing others.
She was always careful to only chose the richer people from the district, those poorer than she was would starve if she took their money and she didn't want that on her concious.
However, Lilly's youngest sister Rose became ill with a flu, Lilly realized that to get the medicine needed, she'd have to resort to breaking and entering someone else's house.
That's what she did. Lilly quickly found that she had a talent for it, lock picking and sneaking around were easy for her. It wasn't long before she used her previous pickpocketing skills to a bare minimum, focussing all her attentions to theft.
