I wrote a Phantom of the Opera fanfic! Okay, so it's actually not finished. And I'm not going to post the whole thing here because that would take up too much room, but here's the link. Jsyk, it's based on the 2004 movie, not the book, musical, or any of the less recent movies.

Numair sighed as he set Daine on the ground. She may have seemed as light as a feather when he first picked her up, but the walk to find a suitable campsite was long and she had grown heavy in his arms. He pulled a blanket over her and sat down at her side.
What was he thinking, dragging her into this disastrous thing called love? She was his student, and he was 14 years older than her! And to top it all off, she was the daughter of a god! A minor god, but a god nonetheless. And what if she didn't love him? What if, in fact, he didn't love her? If he was just kidding himself into thinking he loved her? But as Numair watched Daine sleeping, he knew that that couldn't be the case. He loved everything about her: the dark curly hair that rarely seemed to be tamed, that stubborn chin... he loved even her name. "Veralidaine Sarrasri," he whispered, relishing the sounds as they passed over his tongue and lips.
Daine's eyes fluttered and she looked up at the man, smiling. He smiled back, stroking her hair, watching her eyes close again. Yes. He did love her. Without stopping to think, he laid down next to her, wrapping his arms around the girl and pulling the blanket around to cover them both. Yes... he loved her...
