A brief summary of technical changes and notes for the 57th Hunger Games:
-After they have been reaped, tributes may purchase "Career Tribute Status" for $1000. This allows tributes to exempt one combat station (instead of potentially exempting a non-combat station.) However, tributes must already have been specified as Careers in their bios prior to acceptance; any edits after the reaping will not be counted.
-Time to response to Reaping has been decreased to 4 days from the standard 1 week.
-If you step down from your place as a tribute in one district, you are not allowed to volunteer in another. However, if you have multiple characters in one district, it is acceptable to have one take the place of another.
-If a fight does not end by the end of the Games Day, it will be judged as-is, and the tribute with the most damage will be killed, as long as all sides are reasonably active.
-Limit on number of generic attacks per thread (3) and deal damage for people going over that amount unless specifically asked by the GM (me) in the interest of time.
-Members must make a full-length post per day, no filler posts allowed.
-Staff reserves the right to declare a tribute inactive if their inability to post consistently or effectively is interfering with the Games.
-Random events: There will be posts that have been made before the Games even begin (to eliminate claims of bias) that will be moved to a specific when the conditions for the event are met, eg: specific area on a specific day; certain tribute number to be in a certain area (ie: #th tribute at [location]); certain tribute to perform a certain action, etc)
Notes:
-Note that it is incredibly important to ALWAYS post Tribute Maintenance Actions (ie: losing/using/acquiring items, eating, drinking, first aid, etc) on the specific thread, so I don't have to comb everyone's posts when it's anthem time. If you don't post on the thread, I will not be counting it.
-Note that tributes in alliances are more likely to be hit by random events.
-Note that 40 damage does not necessarily mean immediately dead. It may take some time, but they are incapacitated and unable to continue fighting; the victim will be dead by the end of the day regardless, due to wounds.
