This thread is the official announcement/congratulations thread of Chaos and Gxk's promotions todemistaffTutor status! These two members of the Hunger Games RPG family since April and May of 2010 (in that order) It's my pleasure to welcome them to the team of Tutors, and I applaud all their hard work. At first, I was unsure of these members, as I can recall growing at novice posts of theirs, but as is the way of the roleplaying world, these members have reached new heights. Any ways, I'm not here to tell you all why they've been chosen and how mature they've become - their white names and current roleplaying are explanations enough of their awesomeness.
Also, I would like to mention that the Tutoring family has said goodbye to Ree due to the boards need for more active helpers. She will always be a valued member of the site, and I applaud the work she has done to better her own writing and the writing of others. You should all thank her for her previous work!
The Tutoring Board is also welcoming back its absent yellow-namednot demistaffone with open arms (I hope) I'm glad to be back on the site and look forward to roleplaying with new members / getting to know you all. In addition to the new people part of this thread, I'd also like to let you all know the Tutors have been hard at work thinking up ways to help you all out and involve members in our work. I leave you asking you to congratulate our new Tutors, wave goodbye to an old one, introduce yourself to me, and also give your thoughts on the following idea:
Would members like to be able to PM me (Cinder) and receive a generic "rating" of their writing at the moment. The ratings would be novice, intermediate, and advanced. These ratings would be tailored to fit the member and a short explanation of what they can do to improve their writing/a few generic tips would be included in the PM. These ratings are subjective - like karma. Chances are if you're a new member, you're more likely to earn a lower rating because you haven't written as large a body of work as some of the oldies on this site, and just because you type of massive blocks of text does not mean you earn the title of 'advanced.'
Anyways, the rough edges of this idea will be worked out, but please respond yes or no to this thread. Perhaps include your reasons why being able to receive your current status should not/be an option.
