Appearance:

Cecylia has long, dark brown hair (almost black) that is naturally wavy. She prefers to have it back in a ponytail while working. Her eyes are a light emerald green, that can sometimes appear to be turquoise. Her skin is naturally light, but from working in the orchards all her life she has gotten a slight tan from the sun. Her height is 5'6, which is just right for her, and 117 pounds. Some say she is too thin, others say she is fine the way she is, it doesn't really matter to her anyway. While working, she can be found wearing a tank top, shorts, and a pair of sneakers or sandals.

Her facial features include a straight nose, thin lips, and high cheekbones.

Personality:

Cecylia could be described by friends as bubbly and happy, but only the people closest to her know that this isn't true, that this is what she wants people to believe. She finds it hard to trust people, they have to prove to her that they can be trusted. She does get quite attached to certain people however, and is then very loyal towards them. This would include her best friends and family.
She is great at deceiving people, which comes in handy when questioned by nosy adults or Peacekeepers. She's had to do this quite often as a young girl, so she's rather used to it. Her temper can get her into trouble sometimes, but she's getting better at picking her battles and holding her tongue when needed.

History:

Her history isn't that interesting. Her father and her older brother Peter [16] hunt illegally in the woods, while her mother cares for her three younger siblings (Jacek [6], Yaleiska [5], and Elena [4]). Cecylia works in the orchards harvesting the fruit from the trees and sorting them in boxes to be sent to the Capitol. She actually likes her job because being high in the trees is exhilarating for her, even though it's always hot and they aren't given enough water. Most of her friends work in the orchards as well and they always make even the hardest work seem easier. Her father also works in the fields, watering and harvesting the crops to bring in extra money. They have a big family and it costs a lot to feed the seven of them each day, which is why her father and brother hunt as well, which is mentioned above.
Her grandparents live in District Twelve, where they live off the milk and cheese their goats produce by selling it to the wealthier merchants who live there. Cecylia loves her family dearly and would do anything for them, which is how many people in the districts were raised.
