Jenna Meckinghart {District 12}

Jenna is a fairly beautiful young woman with brunette hair and sky blue eyes. Freckles dot her cheeks like stars in the night sky. Jenna is about 5'5 ft tall and 117 lbs. She is pleasing to look at in all. However, Jenna is a very weak girl and has very little endurance.

Jenna usually wears simple shirts and shorts. She is never seen wearing a dress-not even on Reaping day-as she thinks they are too girly and fake for her. She does, however, wear eccentric things in her hair like bows, clips, elaborate hats, etc. Jenna gets these things from her mother, who knits them for her. Jenna wears boots or no shoes at all usually. Jenna's clothes are sometimes dirty or overused because her family is poor and only makes or buys more clothes by special request or for a special occasion.

Jenna is normally nice, but can be very snippy. She is a very picky person and doesn't enjoy spending time with other people very much. She isn't quick to befriend people and is usually awkward around other people. She is very shy.

Jenna has many hobbies and talents, but most people don't get to know her well enough to know them. She loves to write poetry and songs and loves to sing. She is fair at it, but isn't Capitol worthy. Jenna likes to stay within the boundaries of District 12. The outside doesn't seem safe.

Jenna is a very loving person when she gets to know people. She is a very easily romanced girl and tends to be the kind that stalks boys all day. She acts as though she doesn't care about them, but in truth she does.

Jenna was born into a poor family. Being the youngest of three, she wasn't expected to do much so she felt left out. She then slowly began to keep to herself. Jenna is a very helpless person.

Jenna's oldest brother was chosen for the Hunger Games and died in them. He died quickly, in the Bloodbath so he was forgotten by most people almost immediatly. He never had his chance to prove how great he was. He had done all of the hunting for the family. Jenna's other older brother then took over the head of the household.

After the death of her oldest brother she was expected to do a little more than usual. She began to collect herbs and learned many things about them. If she was ever put into the Hunger Games, her skill would be being able to recognize good or bad plants. She can also use a dagger, but not very well at all. In truth, if Jenna Meckinghart was thrust into the Hunger Games, she would die.
