Age: 16
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 12
Appearance:
Levi's most noted feature is him charming smile. It's very bright and warming, and most can't help but smile back at him. He has a way with people, and usually gets what he wants. A lot of that has to do with how he portrays himself. His confident attitude is always shown by the way he stands. He's upright, standing at about six foot three. He always looks straight into your eyes with his cold grey ones: probably the only feature that lets one see his real personality.Personality:
Levi has long dark brown hair, that usually hangs down close to his eyes. He considers it somewhat sheltering. To be able to hide his face behind his hair is an easy escape from the world. Especially his tell-tale eyes. Not only that it hides a few of the marks on his forehead. Levi has quite a few divets on his face. Most are scars from scratching at chicken pox when he was younger. He wasn't told he wasn't supposed to pick at them, and is now left with a reminder of his father's lack of care for him.
Levi is very skinny, from not having much food, but he doesn't show weakness from that. He never lets on that he is hungry. While he is skinny, he does have some muscle on him. He's not the toughest guy around, but he's not someone to just push around. He doesn't really appear this way though. In fact, he is kind of gangly. He has very long arms and legs, which are proportional to his height. Still the heights and long limbs makes him look skinnier and weaker then he actually is.
Levi is, emotionally, a wreck. His childhood is surrounded with sad times, and not very many positive ones, and has left him in a pretty bad place. Levi has a very hard time putting emotions into what's going on around him. Being neglected has left him this way. Often times, he doesn't care what happens to those around him, and lives only for himself.History:
Even with his emotional detachment he has learned to cope with this. He has found that he is very charismatic when he wants to be. It's not something he was ever taught, but somehow he had picked it up; or maybe realized he needed to get food someway or another. Levi is very good with words, and almost always has a comeback to what being said. He has a way of getting what he wants by flashing a smile and talking to a person just right.
Levi is very greedy, and has no problem doing what he must to get his way. He would sell out a person for his own personal gain in a heart beat. He doesn't see anything wrong with this, and finds it very easy to do, at least consciously.
Subconsciously, Levi is tortured by his own greed and loneliness. He has nightmares often about being left alone and never having a friend. His past comes up to haunt him as well as his future, and he suffers many restless nights. He doesn't ever show this frightened and broken side of himself in public though. He wants to appear strong and confident. Really, Levi is just searching for that person who is going to see a broken young man, and try to help him.
Levi would likely do anything for that person. Someone who saw who really was. He would become a very loyal friend. His bad qualities and cover up that he is okay has prevented this from ever happening though. His lying and greediness have pushed many away, and the cover-up as a charming young man with no problems at all has fooled a great deal more.
Levi was born into an already damaged household. He was the first child, and the only child. His mother died a few hours after his birth due to complications. Levi was left to the care of a broken father.Codeword: muttations
While the man tried to care for Levi, he was heartbroken. Often times, he neglected the child, and went into a deep depression. The baby would cry for hours. Eventually, the man would pull out of it and tend to the child, but conditions were not great.
As Levi got older, his father didn't improve. He remained stuck in the past, and even held a grudge against his son. Never saying it out loud to him, and trying to hide it. But part of him blamed the child for her death. He'd never wanted a kid, but he got one and lost the love of his life.
The years passed, and slowly, lasting damage was made on Levi. He had emotional issues, and by that, I mean he showed little emotions. He was not concerned with anyone else's well-being.
When the boy was 14, his father passed away finally. His depression hadn't gotten better, and it eventually got to him. Levi went on for a little over a day before even realizing his father had died. He thought his father was just in another mood.
Not sure what to do, the boy did as he knew. He'd seen funerals before. He waited till the dead of night, took his father out past the fence, and buried him in the woods. Levi tried to put some sort of emotion to this, but was unable to. He couldn't feel any sort of sadness for the passing of his father. He went home, and continued on with life, as if nothing had changed; because, in reality, nothing had changed.
He spent the last two years on his own, feeding himself. He never told anyone of his fathers passing. He just kept doing what he had always done. He found people around the District and would play on sympathy or something else to coax food out of them.
Levi's nights are occupied by nightmares of his loneliness, but he pushes them away, and hides the few emotions he does feel. He doesn't want people to see him as weak, and doesn't want to be attached to anyone. In the end, he just worries he'll be let down like he has in the past.
