Pepper is a skinny little girl. She has long, lean limbs and long hair. Her hair is a pretty red, which she usually keeps in two pigtail braids, wrapped in rainbow ribbons. Because her hair is so long, and usually braided, when it is undone, it is long and wavy. Pepper has lots of freckles and sparkling green eyes.

Growing up in district 12 can be tough, but not for her. She grew up learning the bow and arrows. Her mom was both an apothecary and an expert seamstress, while her dad works in the coal mine. Her dad is the one who taught her to hunt with the bow and arrow. Because she can hunt, she can feed her family, even though she is only twelve. Therefore, her cheeks are not thin with hunger, and because she can sell what they don't eat in the hob, she can afford good clothing. She typically wears little frilly dresses, but when hunting she'll wear a dark brown pair of multipocketed shorts, a dark green long sleeve shirt and brown leather boots molded to her feet.

Personality:

Pepper is a very caring little girl. She loves her siblings dearly and will go to the ends of the earth to protect them, even if it means she will have to defy the capitol.

The moment someone she loves is in danger, she will throw herself in harms way to protect them. However, she is also very timid, and can be frightened easily. She is mostly afraid of the Capitol and of crippling injury, and of losing her siblings. Also, Tracker Jackers and other mutts.

She is also very spunky and optimistic. She is not easy to anger, but when she is angered, watch out, she holds grudges. And, she is very well equiped with a bow, if you know what I mean

History:

Pepper lives in a very large family. Her mom, Juniper, is an expert seamstress and an apothecary (doctor type person) While her dad is a coal miner. She knows how to heal the injured, and also how to shoot arrows. She has been feeding her family, along with her older brother Cole and her older sister Sage, for years.

Pepper has many siblings. Her eighteen year old sister Sage, her fifteen year old brother Cole, her eleven year old sister Vanilla, and the five year old twins, Coriander (Cori) and Basil.

Just a couple years ago, her dad was killed in a mine explosion, and her mom died of sickness, a plague she was unable to be cured from. That made her sister Sage and Cole the woman and man of the house. Pepper knew that her siblings needed Sage and Cole, so the day she turned 12, she signed up for all the Tesserrae her family needed, so that Sage and Cole no longer had to sign up for it.

Her sister Sage has taken over the apothecary business, her brother Cole hunts with her, her sister Vanilla helps heal and also sews and the twins are too young to work.
