Mahina Fisi, District 4

Mahina is from District 4, specifically focusing on fisheries. Coming from a district that fish, she looks like a typical girl who might jump in to the sea any day. Mahina is 177 cm tall and slim. She has interesting bone structure, quite angular especially her facial structure. High cheek bones and a slight clefted chin.

Mahina has the sun kissed brown skin of a girl who spends most of her time in the sun exposed to the salty weather. That turns her thick wavy brown hair in to a lighter colour.

At times she feels most comfortable in simple dress that may slightly resemble a pelt. She dresses casually as well.

Like her name suggests, she carries an aura of tranquility, almost too serene it catches people off guard when her wild side appears. This wild side is just like the stormy waves of the ocean. Unpredictable and destructive.

She has her weaknesses. As much as the sea is her best friend, she holds a fear of the deep blue waters. She can only swim around the lagoon where the water are clearer. The darker it gets, the crazier she becomes. It's all to do with her past.

In total she has a tendency to easily be overcome by jealousy. Especially towards other girls her age with mothers. And therefore has a tendency to be very suspecious when a female tries to become close to her.

In general, she doesn't have many friends. Nevertheless she still has a lot to learn and discover.

She has suffered serious trauma. As a child she witnessed her mother drown before her very eyes.

Mahina Fisi was raised by a large family who pride themselves as the most skilled family at creating the best fishing hooks.

As a girl she grew up by the sea always exposed to the salty weather and its life. It has always been her dream to become the best maker of fishing nets. Her greatest inspiration came from her mother, whom she admired her crafting the nets herself. Until the day when they set out on their small canoe to pull in the day's haul when her mother found herself dragged overboard by a large fish caught in the nets that led to her unfortunate death.

At the age of 17, she is still haunted by the death of her mother that she cannot bear going anywhere near the darker areas of the sea. She prefers to linker nearby the shore in the lagoon where she'd use her smaller nets to trap whatever she can get.

Her only goal now is to fight the nightmares which unleashes themselves upon her every night.
