Mayle Hart, District 4

Small and thin, Mayle could definitely pass for a 10 year old. Her salmon hair is usually tied into two pigtails that swirl down to her bony shoulders. A few freckles bridge over her long nose and reside on her arms. Her green eyes are those of a serpent, which is the complete opposite of her personality. Mayle creates her own clothes, which usually consist of beads, beads, and more beads. She always wears the ruby earrings that were given to her from her mother. The earrings have been in her family for 10 generations, and Mayle believes they are too important to leave anywhere.

Although extremely shy to those she isn't acquainted with, Mayle is extremely outgoing when she is with her friends. Though it may not seem so, Mayle has a few problems. The biggest one is her bipolar disorder. She can be the happy, sweet young girl that Mayle usually is, or she can be a cruel-hearted snob. Another disorder that she has is her ADD. Putting aside those small traits, Mayle is an incredibly nice girl who loves fishing and hunting for bugs. She is and always will be a tomboy at heart.

Since the day she was born, Mayle had a fascination with insects. She always enjoyed hunting them with her father, and never wanted to let them go. When she was about 4, Mayle finally put a use to those unused bugs. Tied to the end of a fishing rod, those insects became the perfect bait to catching the largest fish in the ocean. Her hobby quickly became a habit, and her family found themselves at the beach nearly every weekend. When Mayle was 6, her bipolar disorder started shining. Once willing to help her mother set the table, Mayle had random outbursts, sometimes consisting of yanking the tablecloth off of the table. Fighting as hard as she could to overcome these disorders, Mayle did her best to help her parents care for her 6 younger siblings.
