Nicodemus Olivier District 4

Nick has a pretty typical District 4 look. He spends a lot of time out in the sun and in the water fishing, which has given him a bit of a tan. He's well proportioned, neither overly lanky or stubby, and stands about 5' 10". All the fishing net and fishing rod work have given his body a healthy and strong amount of muscle definition.

His eyes are light brown, as is his hair, but in the right light his hair almost looks red. It's cropped short and neat, for if it would any longer the length would start to bug Nick. He prefers it tidy and well kept.

As for his clothing style, Nicodemus' wardrobe doesn't extend much farther than tanktops and shorts whenever he isn't in swimwear, regardless of the Olivier fanily's wealth. Its just a more convenient outfit, considering District Four's weather and purpose.

Also, though he probably wouldn't own up to it aloud, Nick finds that this outfit shows off how attractive he is- which is to say, he thinks he's attractive, and has no shame in showcasing how he looks.

As mentioned above, Nicodemus Olivier isn't the most humble fish in the waters of District Four. If he's achieved something he sees as great, he will show it off to anyone who gives him enough time to tell the story. This trait of his is a branch of his unabashed extroversion, he'll talk to anyone and everyone, always saying exactly what he thinks, even if it gets him into trouble.

Which happens a lot. He's been beaten a time or two by a Peacekeeper who didn't care for his opinions. Most of Nick's friends and aquaintances are surprised he hasn't lost his tongue yet, or, god forbid, gotten himself killed.

Lastly, Nicodemus has what could be considered OCD. He enjoys things tidy and organized, and will sometimes waste time to make sure things near him stay that way.

For a citizen of Panem, Nicodemus has lived a comfortable life. District Four isn't a poor district, and the Olivier's are surely not a poor family. All five of the Olivier's are very skilled at what they do. Mr. Olivier, their father, owns a boat that's been in the family for years, which allows them to go farther out into the water than the families who cannot afford their own sea vessels. Mrs. Olivier has made a business out of preparing Seafood dishes, and her recipes have made her shop a local staple. Nicodemus' younger sister Kiara helps his mother out with the shop.

Nicodemus goes out fishing with his father and his older brother Landon, and the three of them can easily catch enough fish for the family and for the required quotient from the Capitol. Out of everyone in the family, Nicodemus is closest to his older brother. Before Landon and Nick were old enough to fish, Mr. Olivier was too busy working to spend time with his young sons, so Landon is a brother, friend and father to his younger brother. The two rarely spend time apart, and look remarkably similar. Many people who see the two together think that they are twins.

The Olivier family has remained blissfully disconnected from any Hunger Games tragedies, a rarity in this day and age. None of their children have been reaped- at 20, Landon is too old to be a tribute, and Kiara is only nine, too young. With the entire population of District Four, it seems unlikely that Nick will get picked, meaning they should still be able to avoid tragedy. None of Nick or Landon's friends have ever been reaped, so Nicodemus has no real reason to hate the Games. To him, its just another event that the Capitol forces onto the country's citizens.
