District 4...Home of the fish, and home of the smelly people, such as Tristian Hartlock. To begin describing him, I will say first off that he always smells like fish, as most do in District 4. He stand five feet tall and weighs 140 pounds. Looking at his entire body, it's easy to see he has terrible posture, and he hunches all the time. His left arm is noticeably shorter than his right, causing others to make fun of his deformity.Personality:
Starting from his head, he has no hair. Instead, his scalp is covered with many scars and discolorations from being burned as a child, this, along with his arm, causes him to be an outcast. He has light brown eyebrows above his emerald green eyes. His nose is small, as is his mouth, which always appears to be a scowl. His hands are slimy from fish handling most of the time, but he washes and bathes quite often. If he had hair and wasn't disfigured, he would be considered pleasing to the eye.
His daily attire is a pair of brown pants, a white, sleeveless t-shirt, and black boots. He has the body type of an athlete. He has little muscle, and doesn't look as strong compared to others.
Tristian is a very mean person. There is simply no other way to put it. He is a jerk. It's extremely hard for him to have friends because of his hatred toward all people in general. He has no family, and he lives in a community home. Nobody really likes him because of meanness.History:
He loves to insult people. Insulting others is what makes his day. He can't say one good thing about anyone. He is also careless and indifferent toward other people and their feelings. He hates talking to anyone about anything, and every conversation ends with another person hating Tristian. He has a very low tolerance level towards other boys.
Violence, murder, and death are his obsessions. They fill up his every thought, and he always tries to channel it out somehow, either by trying to beat someone up, or ruthlessly ripping hooks out of fish. He wants to hurt people.
He likes to pretend around new people on occasion. He does this so he can betray them. Betrayal is something he finds extreme pleasure in, and he never feels guilty about it.
His greatest fear is fire and men. Light a flame and he will sweat, scream, or maybe even pass out. This insane paranoia haunts him constantly. Just seeing fire is the equivalent of an arachnophobic with a spider on their face. While he may be full of pride, he is truly afraid of men. He's very good at hiding it, but he constantly worries that all the men in the district are after him. He's terrified of being tortured or killed.
The only nice thing about him is that he is nice to his caretaker at the community home. He likes her and is oddly infatuated with her as well.
Tristian was born to a loving mother and an alcoholic father in a small cottage in District 4. When he was two, his father came home extremely drunk, and had an argument with his wife. Baby Tristian started to cry loudly, and in a fit of rage, the father poured liquor on his hair and threw a lit match. His mother began to scream and put it out with a blanket, while cursing the father. She hit him and he became so angry, he ripped the leg off a chair and beat her with it, finally stabbing her through her eye. The Peacekeepers came after hearing complaints and arrested him. He was executed immediately.Codeword: Muttations
Tristian was sent to the community home, where he was raised by his caretaker, Lydia. She was a very loving caretaker, and she tried to raise him the best she could, although the years ahead were troublesome.
He grew up being made fun of because of his head. He had no hair, and all those nasty scars made him look extremely undesirable as a friend. They mocked him and even beat him up on occasion. School was the same way. This, along with his childhood abuse, caused him to hate people and feel the need to only look after himself. He chose to stop trying to make friends, and he chose to just not care.
He began fishing when he was nine, and he loved to fish. He also developed a habit of ripping the hooks out of fish. He loved it, and he loved to pretend it was his father he was ripping the hook out of. You could say he became sadistic in his thoughts.
His caretaker tried her best to steer him towards trying to open up to people, but the more the abuse from others occurred, the more he chose not to listen. She still loved him, and still loves him and tries the best she can to help him to this day.
Tristian currently goes about his day being educated in fishing. He finds fishing enjoyable, because he likes to be alone. He is very good at it and always catches loads of fish each day. He is skilled in making hooks and poles and nets, and he is skilled in tying hooks and knots.
