Lacilia has long black-brown hair that goes past her middle back. It's naturally straight, and she usually wears it pulled back with her bangs and a few strands framing her face. She's about at an average height, about 5'5". As such, she is a bit thinner than most, but not too much so. Laci's skin tone can be considered tan, a golden brown that contrasts with her dark hair. She has gray-black eyes to match, framed with long dark lashes.
Laci usually wears a thin leather jacket over a white T-shirt, with little to no variation day to day. She prefers loose pants, but normally inherits her cousin's clothing that always feels just a bit too tight, but no one else notices- or if they do, they decide not to mention it.

Lacilia is a bit rough around the edges, to say the least. As unpleasant as she is to be around, she can be a good companion if you're worth her time. Her second language is sarcasm, and she won't miss a chance to make someone feel crappy. She's fluent in cursing, and can be worryingly rude at times.
Laci hates kids, and would rather cut her own throat than have to deal with one. She doesn't have the patience to care for anything that requires more than she's willing to give, which is why her family, albeit unwillingly, does most of the work. Lacilia prefers running to working, and can often be found wandering about the district.
When it comes to the Capital, Laci thinks they can just contort their bodies in some impossible manner to fit their head somewhere even more impossible. Though she would be fine being a trubute- it's just an easy way to become crazy without other people blaming you for it -she would only do it for personal benefits. The Games are merely something selected to entertain the people living in the Capital, and she refuses to be part of such a pathetic past time.
Laci's biggest flaw is her problem with authority. She hates being told what to do, and rarely listens to begin with. If someone does something better than her, she refuses to believe that it was just their ability. But these flaws are usually outweighed by her strengths, in her opinion. She is an excellent runner, and can go without stopping for almost seven minutes at a full sprint. Her weapon of choice is a pair of daggers her brother gave her when she was eight. She carries them in a special pocket in her pants at all times, but leaves them at home when she's working with animals.

Lacilia has always been a bit of a loner, and only her older brother could bring any sort of pleasant emotion out of her. As a child, the main provider of the family was her brother, Louis. He taught her everything she knows, from raising animals to fighting.
Laci's mother, Abigail, died when Laci was only two years old. Her father, Erik, was home but usually busy trying to support the family. All the while, Louis and Laci took care of most of the home work. Laci would follow Louis around and help whenever possible, and they would make sure the house and the animals were clean and taken care of.
Louis became very sick when Lacilia was thirteen, and despite efforts to help him, he died only a month after. Laci was left alone, and as such she drifted away from her father and friends. She's been a bit rough ever since, and refuses to believe that her life would have been different if Louis were still alive.
Lacilia has few dreams except to survive another day. She's never loved anyone but her brother, and doesn't quite understand the concept. Though she tolerates others' public displays of affection, she secretly loathes the corresponding couple, not because she's jealous, but because of the way others treat her. For as long as she can remember, even while her brother was with her, most of her classmates would stay away from her. Once Louis died, they retreated even further, be it from the possibility of Laci going insane or the face that she would pick fights for no reason other than someone came too close.

Laci has only one special item to her name, and that is the pair of double daggers her brother gave her. Everything else has little to no worth to her.
