David Ralido District 9

David Ralido is about 5' 8" and skinny. He is muscled but not at all buff. His long fingers are nimble, but callused and constantly dirty. His broad shoulders and long arms are perfect for positioning a rifle, something he does often.

He has straight black hair that just touches the top of his ears and he cuts constantly to make sure it stays out of his soft brown eyes. His face is pale despite all the time he spends outside in the sun and he has no freckles. His features are sharp and angular and his face has no baby fat. His face is the face of a hardened man.

David is a total loner. He has friends, but a small amount and he is hesitate to make more. He prefers spending time alone out in the woods hunting rather than mud restling with his friends and whatnot. He loves the outdoors. He is pretty athletic, but the one thing he cannot do is run. He has excersise induced asthma that worsens when he is sick, he runs, or it's cold outside.

David hates his family. They're a bunch of Capitol loving snobs and he hates the Capitol. His goal in life is to live to see the Capitol taken down, and if he could he would help.

His greatest fear is actually public speaking. In school he was always worried he would humiliate himself and he does not ever want to be a leader in a powerful position. As far as the Hunger Games go, David wants nothing to do with them.

David was raised as an only child. His mother was the mayor of District 9 and his father was a high ranking Peace Keeper. They loved the Capitol and always dreamt of seeing their son become a tribute of the Hunger Games.

When David was 12, his best friend, also a 12 year old, was picked in the Reaping. Nobody volunteered to take his place, and David's friend was the first one to die. That was what fueled David's hatred for the Capitol. While his parents just shrugged off the incident, making excuses for the Capitol, David tried to spark a rebellion in the District, yes, when he was only 12. This forced his father to flog him publicly, increasing David's fear of public humiliation.

Ever since, David has avoided spending time with his family and has never openly trash talked the Capitol. He now fears his father, but his father has told him multiple times that he does not regret what he did to his own son.
