Ellena LeVan~ District Nine

Ellena has natural wavy light brown hair. She has smooth, lightly tanned skin and brown eyes. She is fairly skinny. She is taller than the average twelve year old, but not too tall. She is nearly the height of her mother.

Ellena can usually be found with a flower in her hair or in a expensive looking dress from her mother's past. Ellena always has a heart shaped locket around her neck with her name written in cursive on it. Inside is a picture of herself, her little sister, her father, and mother. She has a scar beside her left eye from when her father took her out into the forest to hunt. An arrow sliced through the side of her eye and left the scar. Ellena is usually well bathed because she can't stand the filth.

On her right arm there is a very visible burn about the size of her fist. She burnt it while preparing a meal when she leaned over the stove.

Ellena is quite a quite girl. She keeps to herself and speaks only her kindest words. She is proper and well behaved for her age. She thinks before she speaks and nearly never yells.

Ellena is very sensitive, and is scared by the littlest of things. She keeps a strong structure and tries not to let her fears show through, but sometimes it does. Her past haunts her present life, and you can sometimes hear a silent wearing coming from inside her room.

Ellena prefers to be alone, but she won't turn down someone in need. She's always eager to find new friends, but for her it's sort of hard. She is very smart, and knows many skills she uses to care for her sister.

Ellena is a clean freak. She always demands that her and her sister take a bath in the creek everyday. When she sees a stain on her or her sister's cloths, she will spend hours removing it.

Ellena was a happy little girl with a big family. Her grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, and older brother was the heart of her family. When Ellena was five her mother got Pregnant and had Alice. Ellena was thrilled to have a sister and they grew very close. That same year, Ellena's grandmother and grandfather both died.

At age seven, her brother Zach, got severely sick and died.. Ellena was torn. She watched her brother die at a young age of only 14, and she swore she would protect the rest of her family.

Ellena's mother went into a great depression. She refused to eat, and one day murdered herself. But just before, she gave Ellena an empty locket with her name on it, and left.

Now she lived with her father, a hunter, and her little sister. Her sister is seven, so really can't care for herself much. Ellena has all the jobs to take care of around the house such as cooking, cleaning, and caring for Alice, or as she calls, Ali. She is teaching her sister all her skills in hope of one day leading her sister into a life of her own.

She is a wonderful cook and usually gathers food on her own to make meals.
