Age: 17
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 9
Appearance:
Lithe. Feminine. Seductive, even. These words could describe Rille's physical appearance in a nutshell. Long, dark blond hair parted to the far right of her head falls past her shoulders, and choppy bangs rest in a diagonal across her face, often covering half of her left eye unless carefully tucked behind her ear. Almond-shaped optics give her an intimidating aura about her, accompanied by amazingly painted irises; a sea of light silver-aqua, dotted with flecks of white and gold, each surrounded by a single, unbroken ring of navy blue. Long, gently muscled legs and strong arms give her a powerful appearance, yet do not subtract from her delicate feminine bodice.Personality:
Perfectly placed cheekbones and a slightly large nose seem to work hand in hand to intensify any expression. Good-sized ears and a smooth chin complete the shape of her curved pentagon face. The dark, thin lines of her eyebrows give Rille the power to express, even if she does not want to, and amazingly long black lashes complete her facial features. A smooth curve of slightly pouting lips rest half an inch beneath her nose.
A good-sized chest and broad shoulders are a clue to lots of upper body strength. The unmistakable curves of a young woman make up her hips and abdomen, and with slightly wider thighs one can assume she is a fast sprinter. Her feet are quite large, but they do not look strange for Rille is also quite tall, standing 5'7. Her usual clothing choice is her father's black leather jacket over a plain white T-shirt, with dark yet faded skinny jeans the bear rips across the knees and shins. Add one pair of very well broken-in red sneakers, and Rille is complete.
Rille has a tendency to be quite reserved and secretive. She tells almost nothing to almost everybody; her rule to get by society is 'do not speak unless spoken too'. Very enigmatic by nature, she plays tricks on those who try to pry open her mystery, but not your average practical joke. She plays /mind/ tricks, enjoying peoples confusion as the conversation goes in circles with themselves.History:
Rille's one true friend in the world is Mother Nature. Hunting is a joy for her; she was raised on it, so it becomes no problem for her to make a decent living. She is alone most of her days, but this does not bother her. She views it as an opportunity to go her own way, and in the hide away that she calls a home she engineers new hunting weapons with the metals she gains from her catches. Anything from swords to daggers to arrows, Rille is a combat paladin of sorts. She is pretty sure that this is illegal.
Just because she is portrayed as a violent, unforgiving member of society does not mean she does not feel happiness. Or loneliness. What this lost, family-less girl really desires is someone to love her, or at the very least be her friend. But unfortunately, a childhood chock full of abuse does not allow her, under any circumstance, to open herself to the world, no matter how many nights insomnia takes hold.
Rille was born unwanted form the very start. Her mother handed the tiny infant mistake to Rille's father, deeming she never wanted to see either of them again. However, the confused young man had a job that consumed his entire day often times; he had no room to care for this newborn on his own. So he turned to his sister, Rille's aunt, for help. She agreed spitefully to care for young Rille, on one condition; she gets paid.Codeword: muttations
Rille's father agreed. He hunted overtime to meet his quota and pay his sister a good amount for caring for his baby girl. Little did he know, his sister's definition of 'care' was much different than his own. Rille was beaten from before she could walk for nearly everything a baby was supposed to do; barfing, crying, whining. Her aunt punished her for it. She slapped her, whipped her, cut her even. And she hid it all under her baby cloths, which meant one thing; she never, not ever, struck Rille's beautiful face.
1 year, 2 years, up until her 12th birthday this went on, Rille's father still clueless about the treatment of his darling girl. Those two had done marvelous things together; Rille discovered she had quite a knack for singing, and she showed promise in hunting being the innovative girl she was. Sadly, Rille was still taking lashings from her aunt, seemingly being beaten until the cows came home. And one day, they did.
Rille's school principal called Rille's father into office one day, discussing with him what she called 'her rash and disturbing behavior'. Rille's father was so confused and baffled by this, he didn't know what to think. The principal explained that she was reported crying on the school grounds about something, and a group of girls tried to comfort her by embracing her in hugs. Rille went practically mad, kicking and biting and desperately trying to run away from all those hands. It was as if she was traumatized. Rille's father said he had never once hit Rille or done anything abusing to her for that matter. So he turned to his sister.
Rille's aunt came clean. She asked Rille to take off her shirt for proof. When Rille did as she was told, dozens upon dozens of new and old scars were revealed; on her back, shoulders, arms and neck. Rille's father was so furious, so blinded by rage, that he picked up the nearest kitchen knife and threatened to skin his sister alive as punishment for what she had done to his child. But Rille's aunt beat him to it.
She threw a dagger at him, piercing him through the gut and sending him tumbling too the ground, never to rise again. Rille snapped. Some mental switch in her mind broke from overload, and she went rampant, taking the dagger from her father's stomach and slashing rabidly at her aunt and mutilating her into a horrible bloody mess. She sent the dagger through her brain to finish it.
She discovered her father had died slowly. This was more than she could bear. Friends and neighbors offered generously to welcome her into their home, but she refused all offers of kindness. She supports herself using her father's taught hunting skills, as she has done ever since. But the mental scars still remain. And that is the reason why Rille never, not ever in her life, allows anyone to touch her.
Comments/Other:
Rille is very good with snares and traps. Her current weapon preference is a double katana she inherited from her father. She has also built a pair of twin chain daggers that she keeps on her at all times.
