Slyar Fireon/District 9

Slyar is 5'10" tall. He has dark, brown, smooth, wavy hair that goes down to his eyebrows in the front and to midway down his neck in the back. His hair is usually in a kind of messy but neat style. He has dark brown eyes. He has a fairly dark tan with a clean complexion and smooth skin. He can be recognized with a thin scar running down the left side of his face. It starts above his eye and continues below it to halfway down his cheek. He is physically built with defined muscles. He has a grin on his face noramlly, showing his straight white teeth. He is very physically mature for his age, appearing to look older than he really is. He is usually attractive to most girls around his age.

Slyar normally wears clothes suitable for a hunter. He wears enough to keep him warm in cold weather, but light enough to wear he can move quietly and swiftly. He usually wears a thin sleeveless shirt with a pullover hooded jacket and flexible denim pants. He wears tight fitting, thin leather boots that are light for running but good for protection. He is usually seen with his longbow and quiver of 12 arrows, all made by himself. When hunting he wears a bandana around his head to keep the sweat and hair out of his eyes. He is usually clean, bathing in ponds or streams as often as he can. Slyar had calm, cool, and collected look to him in just about any situation.

He's really funny and can make a joke out of just about anything, but he is very brave and serious when it is important. He's the life of the party, so everyone loves to hang out with him and have fun with him. He is very resourceful and logical.

Sylar is naturally independent, being an orphan since birth. He's also friendly and kind. He is very ambitious and very smart. He's also very talented, and is more comfortable in a group as the leader, which is not bad because he usually is a pretty good one. He’s usually good at keeping his cool in tough situations, and he takes ease in getting out of trouble. He strives to achieve at everything he does, and no matter how well he does he always is looking to get better.
Sylar can sometimes get a bit cocky and arrogant which sometimes leads him into doing things that he can't handle alone. This sometimes puts his life in danger as well as others. He also is very hard on himself which can be good, but sometimes he goes too far. Since he is used to succeeding, when he doesn't, he gets very disappointed and angry. This sometimes leads him into making irrational decisions to try to make up for his failure that put himself and others in danger.

He can be a very good choice of a person to talk to when someone is in need of help. He can really let you open up and help work things out. He's always a good person to count on when anything is needed. Most people generally like him as he does them, but he can be very hostile to his enemies.

Slyar was born on July 7, and was instantly an orphan, his mother dying while giving birth. He was taken in by two boys, 15 and 17 at the time of his birth, who had worked for his dad and had helped out his mom when his dad had died.

Living in District 9, these boys were naturally hunters. They began training Slyar from the moment he could pick up a bow. Slyar had his first kill at just three years old, a rabit with a throwing knife. By the time he was seven, Slyar was an exceptional hunter. He lived with his "brothers" in a small 12 by 12 shack with no electricity or running water, except for when the Capitol required. They lived off the extra food that the boys killed besides what they had to turn in to the Capitol as they were required in their jobs. Despite living just above starvation, and in poverty, Slyar and his "brothers" enjoyed their lives. Hunting was Slyars passion, so he enjoyed every mintue of his job and life.

Just after Slyar reached 11 years old, his "brothers" were killed on the job by a pack of wild dog. Slyar was able to pick all the beasts off with his arrows, but by then it was too late. No one except local workers knew Slyar's situation as an orphan, so he was able to stay living on his own in the small shack without being taken to a community home.

Slyar earns his living with his hunter job all well as selling and trading with game and other things from nature in the local market and black market. He is well known by the entire community, and he makes a little extra money doing things around town for people. He helps support a lot of families with his hunting, mainly ones who have lost a parent or have a lot of children who are hard to support.

Sylar still likes the most to spend his time in the woods, hunting and gathering and learning more about these things every day. He has become an excellent survivalist form all his experience in the wilderness and from living alone for two years.
