This can just be an extension on the Character Adoption Center.

Sometimes people want to give their FC's to others but not in the form of a finished character. And I've done it too. It clutters up the FC board with a bunch of posts that don't need to be there really.
So maybe on the CAC, there can be an option to trade your Face Claims to other people so it isn't filling up the Face Claim thread. Just a simple post saying, I trade ____ to ____ in exchange for _____...there could be no exchanging either. But...yeah just a suggestion.

No. Absolutely not.

I'm definitely okay with clutter if it means leaving it all on one thread. Having a face claim adoption section would be too crazy for my already insane brain, and I'm just not sure I can handle having another section or that there is a need for one.

The reason why I gave in to the CAC was because of record: I wanted to know which active character belonged with which member. There was a need for it because character bios are written by a specific person and you just can't change the original creator of the bio.

Face claims change around all the time. Everyone takes face claims that have been deemed inactive. Honestly, having a face claim adoption section would just be too much work to handle.

Also, I don't see the need for a section like this. Your aim is to reduce clutter? Well, all you will be doing is creating clutter on a different thread. Yay? Not really. If anything, I like having all FC-related posts in the FC thread, because it's all in one place. Plus, what's the point since I end up deleting all of the posts anyway? It might seem like an interesting idea but as someone who has been updating the FC thread for a bit, I am completely fine with the current system. Yes, it's cute that you want to hand off a specific FC to a specific someone, but that ruins the whole point of a face claim. I stand by the "first come, first serve" policy, and I feel like having an adoption section is kind of beating the system...which is bad since I'm a part of the system. >.>

To put in short, I just don't see the point in having a face claim adoption section.
